Story
Meet Lottie! This beautiful approximately 1-year-old Dutch Shepherd mix was found on 09/28/2026 near 276/549 and, after not being reclaimed, is now ready to find a family of her own. Lottie is sweet, affectionate, calm, potty trained, and already knows basic commands. She would likely do well with children and may do well with other dogs, but since she has not yet been dog tested, a meet and greet is recommended if you have another dog at home. Her $125 adoption fee includes her spay, rabies vaccination, boosters to date, microchip, and heartworm test. Lottie is scheduled for her spay on Wednesday, 10/07/2026, and that date is non-negotiable. Apply to adopt at https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense. October 1, 2026, 8:32 pm

Story
Meet Saint – A True Survivor Ready for His Forever Home! Saint is a stunning Catahoula/Dutch Shepherd mix with a heart as big as his story. This handsome boy was rescued from a local shelter after being found all alone with a severely broken leg. He was in desperate need of medical care, and thanks to the quick action of Legacy Humane Society and the loving care of his foster family, Saint is now fully recovered and thriving! Now healed and full of life, Saint is ready for his next chapter—with a forever family who will love him as much as he’ll love them. He’s housebroken, crate trained, and fantastic with people and other dogs. (He hasn’t been cat-tested yet, but we’re happy to do so upon request.) Saint is an energetic, athletic pup who lives for playtime. He’s a fan of fetch, tug-of-war, and zoomies, so an active home (and maybe a playful canine sibling) would be perfect for this spirited guy. He plays hard and loves harder! ✔️ Vetting Info: • Neutered • Up to date on vaccinations • Microchipped • Heartworm negative DOB: 4/23/24 ⚖️ Weight: 45 lbs  Adoption Fee: $125 If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a loyal, loving, and playful pup, Saint is waiting for you! Fill out the adoption application today, and his foster will be in touch: Adoption Application - Legacy Humane Society  We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in adopting from LHS, please complete an online application at http://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ and we will contact you asap about the status of your application. Story
Here is Lennon!☀️ Meet Lennon, your short-legged, big-hearted summer sidekick! ☀️The last boy from a litter of 8, Lennon is a mix of love, loyalty, and a little mystery. With his unique brindle coat, short Basset-like legs, and soulful eyes, he’s equal parts handsome and huggable. Whether he's soaking up sunshine in the backyard or strolling beside you on a summer evening walk, Lennon is the kind of dog who just wants to be by your side. He walks beautifully on a leash, adores pets and attention, and has a sweet, gentle personality that shines around other dogs and children.✅ Vaccinated and neutered✅ Great with kids and other dogs✅ Good leash mannersLennon is ready to trade shelter life for sprinklers, belly rubs, and sunset snuggles. Could your summer be the one he never forgets?📌 Apply to adopt: https://bit.ly/2CCVFPV#AdoptLennon #TBCAnimalRescue #AdoptDontShop #SummerDog #BrindleJoy Lennon is the last male from a litter of 8 that came to us as a result of an unwanted litter. Mom was told to us to be an Akita/Shepherd mix and Daddy was a Lab but Lennon looks like he has some Basset in him. Look at his feet and short legs. No matter what he is, he is a great young adult- just a year old now and about 49 lb.. Many breeds have a brindle coloring, one of which is Dutch Shepherd or Hound. This may be where their coloring is coming from. Lennon walks great on a leash and is easy to handle. He is loving and loves to be petted. Pls give this beautiful boy a chance to be your best dog ever!If you would like to adopt this sweet furbaby, please complete our pre-qualification application at this link: https://bit.ly/2CCVFPV#AdoptDontShop #TBCAnimalRescue

Story
Meet Daisy! Daisy is an approximately 1-year-old female Plott Hound/Dutch Shepherd mix weighing under 45 pounds who is ready to find her loving forever home. Daisy was originally found as a stray off Brentwood Dr. in Heath on 09/12/26 with no collar or microchip. After completing her required stray hold and never being reclaimed, she is now available for adoption. Daisy is a young girl with plenty of life ahead of her and is looking for a family ready to provide her with the love, consistency, and companionship she deserves. At this time, we are unsure how Daisy would do with cats or small children. If you currently have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged prior to adoption to help ensure everyone is a good fit. Daisy is spayed, microchipped, current on her rabies vaccination and basic annual boosters, and heartworm negative. Her adoption fee is $125. An approved online adoption application is required prior to scheduling a meet and greet. If you think Daisy could be the perfect addition to your family, submit an application today at: rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. Story
Andi is an approximately 3–4-year-old German Shepherd/Cattle Dog mix with a very fearful and skittish personality. She came into rescue after being trapped from a feral dog pack and struggled significantly in the shelter environment due to stress and fear. Since transferring to rescue, Andi has been slowly decompressing in a quieter environment, but she remains extremely cautious and requires an experienced adopter with patience and behavior knowledge. She has a strong fight-or-flight response and will need ongoing management, structure, and gradual trust-building. Andi is kennel trained and has done well with some other dogs in the past, though careful introductions and appropriate matches would be necessary. Due to her prey drive and fearful behavior, she is not suitable for homes with cats, small animals, or children. She has a very high energy level and may benefit from structured activities or “jobs” appropriate for intelligent working breeds. However, she is not a candidate for off-leash activities and must always remain securely contained due to her tendency to flee when frightened. Andi is looking for a calm, quiet, patient home with someone experienced in handling fearful or behaviorally complex dogs. She needs an adopter willing to work at her pace and provide the consistency and safety necessary for continued rehabilitation and trust-building. Andi is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and dewromed. She is microchipped with lifetime registration.  If you are interested in Andi and have any questions, please reach out to General@RedstoneHuskyRescue.org ##2662813##
