At first , Dottie was scared of everything and everyone, hiding in the dog house whenever her foster was present. She would even take her food dish into the dog house to hide to eat. We rescued Bear from a friend of a friend whose dog got pregnant. He will be 1year old this month in February. He is so so sweet, playful, and very energetic. We have an older dog who does not like how playful he is and gets pretty upset with him. Our older dog has already bit this poor baby so we have kept them separated for many months now but we feel it is unfair to Bear and he doesn't get as much attention from us as he deserves. He LOVES other dogs and people and always gets so excited to be around them. He has been around a 5-6 year old child and does fine with her. We have NEVER seen him be aggressive ever. We just have reached a point where we feel terrible for him because we have to keep him away from our older dog which means we spend no where near enough time with him and feel he deserves to be in a home where he doesn't have to worry about upsetting an older dog.
