Luna was found as a stray and then unclaimed while at the shelter. She has since been pulled into a foster home and we are learning more and more about her each day. She's a young Dutch Shepherd with a lot of spunk. She's been good with the other dogs she's met and is quite playful. Though she was a bit timid at first, she's a sweet girl and warms up quickly. She would do great in an active, experienced home!

Introducing Kai, a 7 year old female Dutch shepherd. She has lived a wonderful life and has been well cared for and socialized but her owner has come into hard times and has to make the incredibly hard decision to find her a new home. He loves her so much and knows she deserves the world that he can’t provide. Please no rude comments, he is heartbroken. Kai is an incredibly intelligent dog. She absolutely adores people. She is 7 years old but she is still ready for adventures. Kai will need a family that will provide daily exercise and then a couch to sleep on! Kai is good with other dogs, especially male dogs. She has also been around cats and was great with them. Kai has been professionally trained and is housetrained. Kai is located in Huntsville AL. We are needing to find her a forever home by the end of the month! If you are interested in adopting Kai, please fill out an application on our website forrescue.net

Brino is a soft-hearted sweetheart. This shy guy is a certified shadow dog, quietly following you from room to room like your gentle, four-legged sidekick. He may not be the life of the party (yet), but he's working hard on building confidence and learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. Bruno recently spent time in a foster home where he made leaps and bounds. Once he trusts you, you’ll have a loyal companion who finds comfort just being by your side and asking for head pets. This boy loves going on hikes in the woods and is house trained! If you're patient, gentle, and looking for a quiet friend to love, Bruno is ready to follow you home—at a hopeful trot. 💛🐾 Bruno is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all of his vaccinations. This under-3-year-old German Shepherd mix is full of life and always ready to play. He’s incredibly social—great with other dogs, friendly with cats, and would be a wonderful match for an active family. He loves attention and will happily soak up all the pets and praise you have to offer. Jet is crate trained, does great when left loose in the house, and has mastered the dog door like a pro. He’s smart and eager to please, but his energetic brain sometimes runs in a few different directions at once—which just means he’ll thrive with some consistent training and structure (especially in a home with fewer distractions than his current one!).
