Story
Meet Cee Cee from Mississippi. She’s a sweet small dog with a beautiful brindle coat and hyena-like appearance (so adorable). She’s a young dog, so she has puppy energy for play, but can easily settle. She is fully house trained and sleeps through the night. She loves her foster’s dog; they play together and then sleep together (or on each other). For now, cat introductions should be monitored. She has had some good interactions, but is also excitable around them. Cee Cee just wants to play. She will play with other dogs, but will also entertain herself. She loves any and all toys. We are working on training commands. She knows sit, down, back, drop, no/leave it and we will continue with training. Cee Cee loves to snuggle, getting pets/scratches, and she will give kisses. She loves going in the car; she watches out the window or lays down quietly. She wants to be close to her people. Please come meet this amazing girl and consider her for your family.Accuracy is not guaranteed; however, information provided is accurate to the best of our knowledge.  For more information on the pet, please send an email to info@aforeverhome.org July 26, 2024, 5:50 pm

Beam me up, Scottie. He may not beam you up, but he will definitely brighten you up. Scottie comes with a playful spirit and fun loving energy. He also has a calm, relaxed side to him when he is enjoying his weekly walk with the volunteers. His cool, mysterious look and his soft, silky coat complement his affectionate and warm personality. If you would like to meet Scottie, contact the Hopewell Animal shelter at (804-541-2204).

Story
Hi there, I'm Dirk! I'm a young fellow with a zest for life. I long for days full of play and snuggles. I love a good play session with toys! I'm down for adventures too- outings into town, hiking, just driving around, you name it. Hanging out on the couch is also cool too, though. I'm pretty easy-going and up for whatever! I am crate-trained, I have trustworthy loose in the house unattended (I was a good boy while my fosters were at work!), and house-trained. I don't mind baths, either. Oh! I also know a few tricks! I have enjoyed the company of other dogs so bring your furry friends to meet me if you think we might be a good match! Apply to meet me, Dirk, today!

Story
I need to surrender my 4 year old Dutch Shepherd, Rip. I do this with a very heavy heart, he is a wonderful dog and very loved. My circumstances have changed dramatically as I am going back to school and working. Rip does not get the time and attention he needs and deserves. He will do best with people who are active and love to give lots of attention. He is incredibly smart, very loyal, and very active. He knows the basic tricks, sit, stay, up, down, speak and is also crate trained. He LOVES to play fetch and will go after anything you throw. He loves ear scratches, chest rubs, and butt scratches, but is not a fan of cuddles. He is very inclined to "help" you do whatever you are doing around the house He is not good with other dogs (he gets nervous and defensive and does not share toys) and does not do well with cats either. He very much enjoys the company of people. He is up to date on his vaccinations and is taking heartworm, flea and tick prevention medicine. He is in great health!

Story
Kali is a very very interesting name... I was named after a Hindu goddess, like Mother Nature?? WOW, I need to cash in on this amazing name, right?? Nah, I hope that my name, which is kind of cute- GETS ME A HOME!! I mean, have you seen me? I am a brindly, gray/fawn GODDESS of love and soft fur :) I was tied to the fence at the rescue, with my friend Zeus Boy (he has been adopted already) one early Sunday morning. We were immediately taken in by the rescue, it was a very sad letter left with us on the fence.... we were very loved but our family had to move in with a parent and the parent's dogs were fighting us and hurting us :( So they did the best they could to find us a safe place to find great homes..... now I am the ONLY ONE LEFT to find that AMAZING HOME@!! I am a beautiful shepherd girl, my soft fur is so brindly and colorful you will gaze at me for hours :D I am a young gal, had heartworms and was already treated for it, so I am just ready to be YOURS :) ADOPT ME, must love and know Shepherds- I am a wonderful example of the breed. You will have the BEST friend for life!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)
