Story
Luna was found as a stray and then unclaimed while at the shelter. She has since been pulled into a foster home and we are learning more and more about her each day. She's a young Dutch Shepherd with a lot of spunk. She's been good with the other dogs she's met and is quite playful. Though she was a bit timid at first, she's a sweet girl and warms up quickly. She would do great in an active, experienced home!

Poor Tucker, his owner ended up in a nursing home, not coming out. Tucker had no where to go so he has ended up in our shelter. He was a pretty sad boy at first, slowly he is warming up to us and ready for a new home. He would do well in a home without small children. He did live with another dog who has already been adopted. Tucker is approx. 60 lbs. He is pretty much housetrained and quiet. Visit him at the Rockbridge Spca or email manager@rockbridgespca.net. heartworm tested: Negative visit our fb page: dogs of rockbridge and rockbridge spca. NOTE: all animals adopted are taken straight to a local veterinarian for spay/neuter. We do adopt out of area providing adopter is will to make more than one trip. There are NO exceptions, and we do not hold animals. All Kittens and puppies must weigh 2 lbs. for surgery and there are a limited number of veterinarians in our area that will do a pediatric spay/neuter. please note the Rockbridge Spca does not have emotional support animals or service animals. we do not adopt to college students, however, they are welcome to volunteer. a fenced area may be required.
