Story
Max is a Dutch Shepherd and approximately 3 years old. He is a typical Dutchie in many ways. He is very toy driven and loves a game of fetch. When excited he's mouthy and will def give you the love nibbles. He is not interested in making many human friends outside of "his" people, but as long as he is under control/guidance of his handler he does fine. This means that he isn't the life of the party when people come over or the dog that is going to be pet on by strangers. He bonds with his people and is so goofy and fun to have around. He is mostly house and crate trained. He requires a fenced yard to enjoy. Max does know basic obedience. He is dog social but prefers females. He will require an adult home. No cats please. He is healthy and happy and would be great for an active pet home or a hobby sport pet home! Interested families can submit applications for adoption on our website- www.k9Justiceleague.com.

Story
Saint is the sweetest girl in the world. Her mind definitely goes a mile a minute, but for someone wanting a Dutch shepherd or a Mal as a pet, she would be perfect for a pet home. She doesn’t know commands, but she is trainable and would really thrive with one on one attention! She is very dog friendly too, so she would love a bother or sister!

Story
Sweet Ivy! She is 3.5 years old. She is adorable and petite. Housetrained and crate trained. Lower drive and a great family companion level energy. This girl is oh so sweet with her humans and quite affectionate once she’s comfortable. She is wicked smart and would thrive in a home with someone who will work her brain everyday. She is protective of her people and home, so proper introductions outside of the home are a must. No kids for this girl as small humans make her nervous. She is also kennel trained and is fine to be put away when guests come over. Ivy does need to be the only pet in the home. Ivy has high prey drive, so no cats please. She is working on her “leave it” and “no” commands while outside and will need someone to continue this training. Ivy is a smart, loyal dog that will make a wonderful companion for her person. Harley did really well in her board and train- she will need a breed savvy owner for proper handling. She likely can have friends if they are the right match- but will likely need to be an only pet.

Story
We are 5 1/ hrs west of VA Beach. We can transport 1/2 way for $100 or we can transport to VA Beach for $200. This will cover just my gas with today's high gas prices. You are welcome to drive to us in Mt.Airy, NC to pick up. Transport is on hold due to vehicle issues. Sheldon came from a local shelter. They were over full and he was in danger of being euthanized. He is a german shepherd mix. The vet said he is around 2 years old( as of 6-22-23). He is a tall lanky dog, around 65 to 70 pounds. He is a sweet boy and very affectionate. He needs a home with room to run. He is energetic and would need an adopter who can embrace it. He will make THE BEST hiking buddy ever. He likes water to. He would be best in a home where he can be the only dog. If he can't be an only dog he needs a home with a large breed submissive female. He would also do well with puppies. He is doing well with crate training and house training. He will go to his new home current on vaccines, testing, preventives, neutered and microchipped. He will receive a complete physical by our vet prior to going home. He will also be issued a certificate of Health. The adopter will get all the health records with adoption. We require a pre screen application to adopt. You can get that on our website at www.saveamuttkennel.net
