Story
With her gorgeous brindle coat, human-like eyes, and the prettiest ember coloring, Rainee Bee is the kind of dog that stops you in your tracks. Add in her happy personality and incredibly loving nature, and you’ve got a girl who doesn’t just catch your attention… she keeps your heart. She’s happy, loving, and full of sweet personality, with the cutest little bursts of playful energy mixed in with her cozy, homebody charm. Rainee Bee may take a moment to warm up in new environments or with new people, but once she knows you, she lights up in the most special way. Her tail starts wagging, her goofy side comes out, and suddenly you’ve gained the most devoted, affectionate companion who just wants to be near you. She tends to open up especially quickly with women, and once you’re in her circle, her love is easy, genuine, and completely heart-melting. Watch her video and fall in love with her: https://youtu.be/2df99z-eqo0?si=iMP1fHgedij04Z4R Rainee Bee is believed to be a pittie mix approximately 2 years old and currently weighs 48 lbs. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Rainee really does teach you how to slow down in life and to appreciate everything around you. She loves laying out in the backyard, belly up and just soaking it all in like there’s no care in the world. She’s just a sweet and cuddly homebody that thrives in a slower paced environment with people that have the exact same mindset as she does. She loves a good snuggle and can be very affectionate towards the person she bonds with. Rainee promises to never pull your arm off looking for love from a stranger. She will take a moment to get to know you before professing her love, but… psst—don’t tell her we told you this, but Rainee’s heart is easily won with patience, gentle voices and trust. Once you're in her corner, it's game over! You’ll forever be her favorite person and you’ll gain the sweetest little shadow. The same can be said about Rainee when she is meeting new people. She will take a moment to get to know them but as long as she is with the people that she knows, loves and trusts, she quickly realizes your guests are an extension of her favorite people and she'll be resting her head on their lap and snuggling with them in no time. Especially towards women, she tends to open up fastest with women. She is good around men too and has been around plenty of them. It just takes her a little bit longer to feel fully comfortable around men and prefers to be around patient gentle toned men in life. Not only is Rainee your next best friend but she will also be your dog's next best friend! She has been introduced to so many different types of dogs and thrives around other dogs. Rainee is currently fostered with multiple dogs in the home and she gets along great with all of them. She is great about matching energies with other dogs, from romping, bouncing, wrestling gently, and throwing paws with dogs who enjoy that style. When play is done, she’ll calmly walk away and enjoy the fresh air. Rainee is shy when she first meets new dogs and will do best in a home with a doggy friend that will allow her to get the lay of the land, feel comfortable, etc. and then the rest is history. Rainee is good about sharing treats, affection, couch time and toys with her dog friends too. Speaking of toys, this little lady loves them! Especially stuffy toys! She loves tossing them up in the air and catching them like she’s air bud from the movies. She also does the cutest little hops when she’s playing too. Rainee knows how to entertain herself quietly with a chew toy or a stuffy. She can be relaxing on the couch with you by her side while you’re watching tv or even working from home and there will be Rainee quietly chewing her toy entertaining herself. She also has fantastic house manners! She is crate trained, potty trained, has never destroyed anything in the home, and doesn't get into anything she isn't supposed to. Rainee also met our house cat Biggie and met him appropriately and was very respectful around him. She did not chase Biggie, nor was she bothered by Biggie jumping or doing what cats do. Biggie also felt comfortable around her as well. We do not know if she has ever lived in a home before with a cat and this was our first time seeing her with a cat. If you have a cat in the home, we can arrange for her to have a sleepover with a cat upon request. Just let us know! Rainee would do best in a home with a backyard in a more residential area rather than in the heart of the city with all the noises that come with the city life. Rainee has great listening ears and some noises do spook her so a quieter neighborhood will ultimately be best for her. She also just loves to spend time outside and sunbathe and play with her dog friends. If you’re looking for a sweet, happy dog with personality, affection, and just the right balance of playful energy and cozy companionship, Rainee is ready to bring all of that and more into your life. Story
Meet Mygena Hyena: The Gorgeous Cuddly Adventure Princess✨ Why “Mygena Hyena,” you ask? One look at her giant goofy smile, her hilarious little expressions, and those absolutely breathtaking golden honey eyes, and it just makes sense. She has the face of a majestic woodland princess mixed with the energy of your funniest best friend who accidentally trips over air but somehow still looks beautiful doing it. At around 3 years old, Mygena Hyena is truly one of those dogs who just loves being loved. During her assessment, she floated around the room collecting affection from every human possible like she was running for mayor. She met tons of people and acted like every single one was her long-lost family member returning from war. Tail wiggles? Check. Face kisses? MANY. Leaning her entire body weight into you for scratches? Absolutely. This girl believes affection is a full-time job. If you sit down, congratulations, you now have a cuddle buddy. If you stand up, congratulations, you now have a shadow. If you look at her for more than three seconds, she assumes you obviously wanted to kiss her forehead and tell her she’s beautiful. And honestly? She’s correct. One of the cutest things about her is how soft and sweet she is while asking for attention. She’ll gently hop up for love, roll onto her back dramatically for belly rubs, and stare at you with those giant golden eyes like you are personally responsible for making her day magical. It’s impossible not to laugh around her because she has this goofy, lovable, slightly dramatic personality that makes everything more entertaining. Watch Mygena's video here! https://youtu.be/MvDwb5y8LDc?si=uwip4s6MztVamzXU And while she is an Olympic-level snuggler, Mygena Hyena is not just a couch potato. Her foster says one of their favorite things about her is how much she loves adventures and being active. She would be SUCH a fun companion for someone who likes getting out of the house. Walks? Yes. Exploring? Absolutely. Hiking buddy? 100%. Farmers markets, patio hangs, road trips, wandering around town pretending she pays rent there? She would thrive. She has that perfect mix of “let’s go do stuff!” and “okay now let’s cuddle for six straight hours.” On leash, she was easygoing and followed directional changes really nicely with just tiny little guidance. She naturally wanted to stay connected with her people and was very pleasant to walk. When it came to other dogs, Mygena Hyena was honestly hilarious because she was so chill about everybody. She met all kinds of dogs during her assessment (playful puppies, dominant females, energetic dogs, calm dogs) and she handled everything beautifully. Her vibe was basically: “Oh hi.” sniff sniff “Anyway… where are the humans petting me?” She mostly wandered around doing her own thing, occasionally greeting dogs politely before continuing her important business of being adorable. She shared affection from handlers well, tolerated all the dogs she met nicely, and overall was just super easygoing socially. Her foster says she lives with multiple dogs and does great. For very tiny dogs, her foster mentioned she can sometimes play too enthusiastically and may chase smaller active dogs, so dog friends around 20 pounds and up would likely be the best fit for her. During her assessment, she did very well with a calmer small dog and was mostly aloof and polite. Now for the one thing Miss Mygena Hyena says she cannot compromise on: absolutely no cats. Tiny tiger roommates are not for her. As for kiddos, she hasn’t officially been around children yet, but she is incredibly affectionate and loving with every person she meets. We can absolutely kid-test her for interested adopters! She is a sweet girl, but because she sometimes gently jumps up for affection and she’s a bigger gal, we’d want to make sure everyone is a good fit together. Her dream forever home is one where she gets to be included in everyday life. She’s not the kind of dog who wants to sit alone in the background — she wants to be part of the family. She wants to go on adventures, get showered in love, follow you around the house dramatically, supervise snack time, and then curl up next to you afterward like the giant affectionate baby she is. Honestly, Mygena Hyena feels like one of those dogs people talk about forever after adopting: “That’s my soul dog.” “That’s my best friend.” “That’s the little golden-eyed lady who changed my life.” She’s silly, affectionate, adventurous, cuddly, and full of personality. And those gorgeous golden eyes? They look right into your soul like she already knows she belongs with somebody out there. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Check out Dutch the Handsome Dutch Shepherd!!  Dutch is turning heads and stealing hearts everywhere he goes! His foster mom says everyone is envious of how handsome and easy to work with he is. With proper introductions he does well with other dogs. Dutch is learning basic obedience and has already learned French commands! HE still thinks the vacuum cleaner is his mortal enemy and has some struggles with the house crate, but his foster is working him through it and he is getting better every day. This lovely boy has a moderate-high energy level, high food and toy drive. Dutch has done well with strangers entering the home and the neighbor's kids. He loves ball and would do pretty much anything for it. A former stray, Dutch is still learning how to be polite in the house as his curiosity takes over at times. He is learning all of his basic obedience and enjoys working for his food.  We think his ideal home is breed experienced and savvy. Dutch is a big boy with a lot of drive who wants to work. He will need a handler that understands how to create structure in the home and channel all of Dutch's energy and drive into appropriate outlets. Dutch is a strong contender for detection work. He is not a pet and will not be placed as an active companion.  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If you are interested in adopting this pet please complete an application! Completed applications that match the need of the dog will be contacted as soon as possible.  We often post updates on the Ninja's Woof Haus Rescue Facebook Group: Join Here - there you can also search for posts on him: #NinjaRescuedDutch If you have questions about this pet please contact us Here Additional information about Ninja's Woof Haus and all of our dogs for adoption can be located on our WEBSITE and check out our FAQ page for adoption requirements! ##2750677##

**THIS DOG IS NOT IN THE CARE OF THE ALTERNATIVE HUMANE SOCIETY. THIS IS A COURTESY POST. PLEASE CONTACT KOTA'S OWNER DIRECTLY AT kaylahbrown01@gmail.com  THANK YOU** Meet Kota Kota is about 5-ish years old and is looking for a fresh start with the right person or family. He’s a rescue himself, and while we don’t know everything about his past, we do know he’s a loyal, intelligent boy who bonds closely with his people. Kota has primarily been kenneled and will likely need patience and guidance as he adjusts to spending more time out and building confidence in a home environment. He does okay with other dogs when introduced slowly and properly, and he can coexist with cats. He’s also done well with kids and babies, showing a gentle and tolerant side in family settings. Handling? No problem there. Kota does fine with baths and nail trims, which makes grooming much easier. He’s a smart dog and previously received police-related training before being rescued, so he’s very alert and aware of his surroundings.Because of that training, Kota is especially sensitive to certain environments. He does not do well around active drug use or heavy alcohol use and has reacted protectively in a few instances when people under the influence got too close while out walking. For this reason, he would do best in a stable, calm home with a confident, experienced owner who can provide clear structure and avoid those triggers. Kota isn’t a “drop him in any situation” kind of dog — but in the right home, he has the potential to be an incredibly devoted and protective companion. He’s looking for someone who understands that rescue dogs sometimes come with a story… and who’s willing to give him the safe, steady life he deserves. ##2666463##

Story

Story
The personality. The face. The size. The EARS! Everything about Kaiser Cruz from head to toe, inside out, is literal perfection. Shepherd lovers better hurry up because he won't be available for long. He is snuggly, dog friendly, loves the outdoors, smart, and great with kids! The list can quite literally go on and on and on. Biggest flex this boy has are those amazing ears. Full of personality and full of cuteness. Watch his video and fall in love with this sweet boy: https://youtu.be/ajZy2JOkRrw?si=SuyuCzdNV99fOIl2 Kaiser Cruz is believed to be a Shepherd mix approximately 8 years old and currently weighs 64 lbs. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue it's always a mystery, and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Kaiser is the perfect combination of affection while also being independent. He's not overly needy with his love nor does he ever over do it. If you're someone that works from home, he'll be a great work from home buddy because he's not going to be constantly begging you for attention or getting into things he shouldn't be (he has wonderful house manners I might add). He's the type that will come up to you when the time is right for a little ear/nose scratch almost as if he knew you needed a 5 min break from work. As for the rest of the time, he's a window watcher and loves looking out windows or he'll be playing with a toy. While Kaiser waits for his forever family, he is being spoiled by his foster family and they absolutely adore him and rave about him. He is currently fostered in a home with kids ages 4 and 8 years old, and Kaiser has been nothing but sweet perfection around the kids in his foster home. They have the best time playing together, snuggling, and he loves being a part of a family dynamic. Kaiser is very tolerant with all of the kids in the home and just loves them to pieces. He has no issues when the kids are playing with his toys, running around, and is frequently found giving them the gentlest kisses. It's the sweetest thing! If you have kids and are looking for a bestie for your kiddos, Kaiser is definitely your guy. Not only is Kaiser great with kids, he is also very dog friendly and has done great with all the dogs we have introduced him to and is also fostered in a home with an 8 month old playful pittie mix. Kaiser has been around dogs all with different personalities and has done great with every single one. Kaiser is wonderful about meeting new dogs and will either play with them or will go off and do his own thing. That's what is so great about him, the way he is able to adapt to the dogs around him. He can run around, have a good time and he also just as happy going off and doing his own thing while the other dogs are being wild. Kaiser is more about exploring and doing his own thing rather than playing with other dogs. Though when Kaiser does play, he plays like a total shepherd. If you know shepherds or have ever owned one, then you know they love mouthy air play, will give nose boops where they see fit LOL, and use their paws like they are professional boxers at times all while keeping things lighthearted and fun. Shepherd play is definitely entertaining to say the least. Kaiser would love to have a dog sibling in the home, but if you don't have one, that's okay too. He does not need the company of another dog to satisfy his energy needs or to help him open up. Kaiser would love to be in a home with a backyard where he can sunbathe anytime he wants, roll in the grass, and explore all the fun smells. He would make a great companion while you garden and relax on the patio enjoying the fresh air. He’ll enjoy going on neighborhood walks, mini adventures and then will happily lay next to you for cozy time. Kaiser is such a good boy, a 10/10! Now, he just needs a family to call his own. We are willing to test Kaiser Cruz with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
If joy had ears, they’d look a lot like Brooklyn Cherry. This happy girl brings the kind of upbeat, feel-good energy that makes everyone around her smile without even trying. She’s always in a good mood, always ready for fun, and those expressive ears just add to her already irresistible charm. Beyond her adorable looks, Brooklyn Cherry is incredibly smart, dog friendly, loves her toys, and strikes that perfect balance between playful adventure buddy and snuggly companion. Watch her video and fall in love with her amazing personality: https://youtu.be/U_TBkOb-19M?si=Nl3KaCKo5UAzVATy Brooklyn Cherry is believed to be a Shepherd mix approximately 1-2 years old and currently weighs 60 lbs. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Just based off looks, there are sprinkles of so many amazing breeds that it's hard for us to narrow it down without doing a DNA test (which we would love to see if her future adopters do one). We can see Rhodesian Ridgeback with her coloring and frame, along with German Shepherd with those ears, and with legs like that, she may even have Great Dane sprinkled in there too. We may never know, but regardless of what her DNA says, she is the perfect blend in our eyes. Brooklyn is dog friendly and gets along well with other dogs who enjoy and can match her play style. She’s the “roughhousing in the yard” kind of girl -playful and physical, and so much fun to watch. When dogs are confident and enjoy that same type of play, she thrives. Brooklyn has made some wonderful dog friends who she plays beautifully with. You can see her big goofy grin and those paws in the air and know she is having a blast! Brooklyn would do best in a home with a moderately playful dog that likes to play and one that also likes to hangout and relax. If you don't have other dogs, that's okay too! She would be great as a solo dog as she does not need the constant play to keep her entertained or the companionship to help her open up and be comfortable. Brooklyn is a happy social butterfly all on her own and she would love to be the center of your world. Her basics are already solid too! Brooklyn is fully potty and crate trained, and a quick learner. She already knows some basic commands, like sit and has a pretty decent recall already. Brooklyn is fairly easy to walk on a leash and will be a great adventure buddy! She does pull occasionally out of excitement or if she wants to go sniff something but is easy to correct. She aims to please and loves to learn new things too. She knows how to sit, shake, down, and can learn so much more. This girl really can do it all. With the right training and guidance, there’s nothing you can throw her way she wouldn’t be able to do. She would be the perfect adventure companion to take with you on walks, hikes, and could even make a fantastic running partner. Yes, Brooklyn can be a super fun, active, adventurous girly but she also has a calm side as well. She seems to already have some level of understanding that play time is an outside luxury. Of course, she will play indoors with a toy or tennis ball if you want her to but she is really good about finding a spot on the couch with her favorite toy and is perfectly content doing her own thing. Brooklyn's dream home would have a big backyard where she can stretch those legs, smell all the smells, and a place where she can find that perfect spot in the grass to bake in the sun. She would do best with a semi-active family that wants to take their dog with them on hikes, maybe even looking for a running partner, and also wanting a snuggly companion after a full day of adventures. She can certainly do both after she's had some form of mental stimulation. We are willing to test Brooklyn Cherry with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. Meet Poppy the blooming beauty who is ready to plant some serious joy in your life! If you’re looking for a partner in crime for every trail and trek, this vibrant girl is ready to grow right alongside you. Poppy is a total firecracker with a heart of gold and a personality that sparkles! She is the definition of "life of the party," greeting every single person she meets like a long lost best friend. Don't let her athletic prowess fool you Poppy is a "Gentle Giant" through and through. Whether she’s giving out enthusiastic hugs or showing off her lightning fast learning skills, Poppy brings an infectious, super fun energy to every room she enters. She’s the kind of dog who makes every day feel like a sunny afternoon in the park. Believe us her moves are something you don’t want to miss, See her zoomies in action! https://youtu.be/Yzc8F6Ou5MA What makes Poppy truly special is her incredible bond with her humans; she is a total velcro dog who just wants to be where the action is! While she has the drive of an adventurer, she is also a world class lounger who loves to hang out on the couch after a day of play. She loves her "private mini room!" Poppy is crate trained and views her space as a cozy sanctuary to relax. She’s been living and playing with smaller dogs (around 17 lbs) and has shown she’s a social butterfly who loves to lick her foster siblings' faces every morning to say "hello." She’s a smart cookie who picks up on house rules in a heartbeat! Poppy knows exactly how to scale down her play to be gentle with small dogs, and she’s a master of the "play bow" to make sure everyone knows she’s a friend, not a foe. She is a dream on a walk and a proud member of the loose leash club. No pulling here just a girl who loves to stroll and take in the sights. No accidents here! She is a pro at keeping her space clean and follows a household routine perfectly. Incredibly smart, perfectly gentle, and always ready for the next ride. She is a loving explorer at heart, always ready to navigate a new hiking trail or scout out the best local coffee shop patio with you by her side. We suspect Poppy is a Belgian Malinois mix, which means she’s got the brains and the beauty! Weighing in at a sleek 45 pounds, she is that perfect medium size big enough to keep up on a run, but compact enough to easily hop in the car for a weekend getaway. Of course, with any rescue, her breed is a bit of a mystery, but her intelligence and stunning coat are 100% pure bred Good Girl. When it comes to other dogs, Poppy is a social superstar! She loves a good game of chase and is a play bow professional. She isn't just a pretty face (though that coat and those perked up ears speak for themselves!). She’s a vocal girl, but not for no reason she just loves to chat and invite her friends to join the party. Great with friends, but is just as happy to be your one and only! She would be happiest in a home with a medium energy dog who can keep up with her fun loving wrestling matches but also knows when it’s time to take a collective nap. Whether she’s sharing her favorite toys, wrestling on the couch, or inviting a buddy to play with one of her signature "are you ready to play" chirps, she is a polite and playful companion who would make an amazing addition to a multi dog household. Poppy thinks she’s the star of the show, so she’s looking for a feline free home! She’d much rather spend her time focusing on her human friends or playing "tag" with her canine buddies than worrying about what a kitty is up to. To keep everyone happy and wagging, she’s sticking to a cat free lifestyle where she can be her best, bouncy self. The ideal home for Poppy is one that matches her zest for life! Because she’s a brilliant working breed mix, she’d love an active adopter who enjoys training or outdoor adventures. She would adore a house with a yard to zoom in, but she could also be a rockstar apartment dog for a active person who treats the city as their playground. Something cute about her? She’s a talker with her paws she’ll invite you to play with the most adorable little dances! In Short: Poppy is Perfection! She is a brilliant, affectionate, and adventurous soul who is just waiting for the right person to lead the way. She’s also a bit of a home decorator when she’s feeling playful on the couch, she loves to rearrange the pillows to get her setup just right. It’s just one of the many quirky ways she brings joy and laughter to her foster home every day. She’s got the brains of a scholar and the heart of a puppy, making her the ultimate companion for a life lived out loud.
