Story
Meet Molly, a one year old Shepherd/Husky mix weighing 50 pounds.Molly is a gentle sweetheart looking for a family ready to show her just how wonderful life can be. She came to us as a stray alongside Mia, and it’s clear that much of the world is still very new to her. New places, new experiences, and even simple everyday things seem to be things she’s still figuring out. While Molly can be a little unsure at times, she is slightly more outgoing and a bit quicker to investigate the world around her. She appears to have had very little experience with things like walking on a leash, so it can still feel a little scary and unfamiliar, but she is trying her best and has an eager-to-please personality that will help her go far.Molly could use some TLC and a family that understands the value of patience and gentle guidance. She has a sweet, soft nature and seems ready to soak up all the love and reassurance she can get. With time and encouragement, we think Molly is going to gain confidence and continue coming out of her shell. She’s a kind girl with a lot of potential, just waiting for someone to help her discover how exciting and safe the world can be.This pet is available for adoption on 5/21/2026 2:59 PM at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. Story
Meet Titan, a one year old Belgian Malinois mix weighing 51 pounds.Titan is a stunning young dog with gorgeous sable coloring, long legs, and an athletic build that turns heads wherever he goes. While his looks are impressive, it`s his sweet and sensitive personality that really steals hearts.Titan is a submissive boy who looks to his people for guidance and reassurance. He wants to be close to you, follow your lead, and figure out the world together. A little unsure in new situations, Titan takes comfort in having someone he trusts by his side. Once he feels safe, his affectionate nature shines through, and you`ll quickly discover that belly rubs are one of his favorite things in the world. We suspect Titan may have some Belgian Malinois in his background. Dogs with Malinois traits are known for their intelligence, loyalty, athleticism, and strong desire to work closely with their people. They often form deep bonds with their families and thrive when given structure, training, and opportunities to use both their minds and bodies.Titan seems to have that same intuitive nature, always watching his people and looking for direction. He isn`t the type of dog who wants to be the boss—he`s looking for a confident owner who can show him the way. With patience, guidance, and plenty of love, Titan has all the makings of an incredibly devoted companion. If you`re looking for a handsome best friend who wants nothing more than to be your shadow, Titan may be the perfect match. This pet is available for adoption on 6/6/2026 9:08 AM at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. Story
Meet Peanut, a nine month old German Shepherd/Cattle Dog mix weighing 35 pounds. Peanut is a sweet and lovable pup who is looking for a family to help her grow into the amazing dog she`s meant to be. This adorable medium-sized girl loves people and has a gentle, affectionate personality. One of her cutest habits is belly-crawling over for attention and cuddles. As a young dog, Peanut is at the perfect age to continue building confidence through positive socialization. Early socialization helps dogs learn how to navigate the world and can set them up for success as happy, well-adjusted adult dogs. Peanut has already been around dogs, cats, and even birds, giving her a great foundation to build on.Peanut is playful, curious, and a bit of a climber. She`s also shown a talent for escaping if left unattended outside, so she`ll need a secure yard and supervision while she learns good habits. If you`re looking for a sweet girl who is ready to learn, love, and grow alongside you, Peanut may be the perfect addition to your family. This pet is available for adoption on 6/15/2026 2:25 PM at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center.
