Hi there everyone my name is Pia! I am an 11 year old, spayed female, brown Dachshund, Chihuahua mix who weighs about 17lbs. I am a sweet senior gal who is looking to spend my golden years in a nice, quiet home where I can lounge around, be spoiled and spend some good quality time with my favorite people. I can start off on the shy side, but do warm up as long as I can be given some time to adjust. My ideal home would be one with adults only, as a more active household might be a little overwhelming for me. Once I am more comfortable in my new place, you'll see just how sweet I am and even though I am on the older side, I still enjoy nice leisurely walks, and interacting with male dogs the same size as me. If you are looking for a sweet, gentle dog to introduce into your life then come and ask about me, and make sure to bring everyone in the household to meet with me before you take me home! We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
