Story
Hi, I’m Hope! Professional Snuggler • Snack Enthusiast • Future Love of Your Life Reporting live from Redwood City, CA Hello, humans. I’m Hope — a 1–2‑year‑old Chiweenie, 9 pounds of pure charisma, and yes, I am this cute in person. I may be small, but my personality is premium‑sized. A Few Things About Me (from me): I start off a teensy bit shy, but give me five minutes and I’ll be your emotional support burrito. I love kids, cats, and small dogs. Basically, if you’re friendly, I’m friendly. Laps? Mine. All of them. I don’t make the rules. I’m housetrained and use the doggy door like a tiny homeowner. I sleep under the covers because I enjoy luxury. My Hobbies Include: Going to the dog park and pretending I’m the mayor. Riding in the car with the confidence of someone who has a driver’s license. Watching Real Housewives and gasping at the drama. Cheering for the 49ers — I look fabulous in team colors. Attending the San Francisco Chihuahua Meetup and acting like I’m famous. Doing literally anything for treats. Training me will be a breeze because I am… motivated. What I’m Looking For: A forever human who wants a snuggle buddy, a sidekick, a tiny comedian, and a loyal friend who will love you with her whole heart (and her whole 9 pounds). If that’s you, I’m ready when you are. Grateful Dogs Rescue incurs substantial veterinary and other expenses in rescuing our dogs. In order to recoup some of these costs, we request a tax-deductible donation for each adoption. The suggested donation for HOPE is $300. If you are interested in adopting HOPE, please complete our online adoption application at https://www.gratefuldogsrescue.org/adoption-process/ . One of our volunteers will get back to you. Adoptions are local, confined to the SF Bay Area. See our other available dogs at https://www.gratefuldogsrescue.org/available-dogs/ January 14, 2026, 2:45 am
