I am rotten and spoiled, and I will whine if you don’t give me enough of attention. All I want to be is someone’s best companion, and find my furever home. P.S. I love my treats and will do tricks for them. I will sit, lay, stay, and not eat my treat until told. I am also crate trained, and love to be in it when you are away. I like small spaces when I get nervous. All around I am quite a fantastic dog, my mommy, unfortunately has become to sick to meet my needs. Maria is a sweet little girl - an 11 month old Feist/Hound-mix with a pretty brown and white coat.  She is a little bit shy at first but is super sweet once she knows you.  Then she will love you with all her heart.   Maria had a rough start to her life, arriving at the shelter after her home caught fire. She came to us with her two sisters, Danica & Lindsey, who have both found their furever homes. Maria was adopted and spent a few weeks in a home, but was returned through no real fault of her own. Maria has lived with other dogs, but we definitely suggest a meet-n-greet if you have other dogs in the home. Maria is an amazing and sweet lady who deserves a shot at true happiness!  She has such grace and agility, it's beautiful to watch her run in the shelter’s park. Maria will make such a wonderful companion dog!   The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.                  May 3, 2024, 8:18 pm

Moa is a 2 years old,  50 lb, that looks like a  Feist/ GSD mix girl that was born on 8/12/21. She is smart, friendly, and quickly learning manners, obedience, crate training, and house breaking! Moa is personality covered in fur! She was found as a stray with her mom and siblings and had a hard start to life but her mother dog took good care of her until they came to the safety of the rescue. This girl is good with other dogs and kids but NO cats. She is spayed, heartworm negative, fully vaccinated and dewormed. Her adoption fee is $200.April 29, 2024, 10:16 pm
