I’m Pacaya, an athletic, happy, and downright charismatic girl with a heart full of joy and paws made for exploring. I’m friendly, engaging and I has got a gorgeous coat that goes from a warm tan to a rich red when the sun hits me just right. I'm always ready for the next adventure — especially if it involves hiking, swimming and exploring(yes, I take the scenic route whenever possible). If you love the outdoors, we’re already best friends. Trails? I’m in. Lakes? I’m already splashing. Hills? I’ll meet you at the top, tail wagging proudly. I thrive with an active person or family who enjoys getting out and doing things — I make an excellent hiking buddy, jogging partner, or “let’s-see-what’s-over-there” companion. "Hi there! I’m Rasmus – and I’m ready to meet my forever family! I am 1 year old, a Feist (type of terrier) mix, around 30 pounds, full of energy, and your classic playful puppy! Life is all about fun for me—chasing toys, playing tug-of-war, and zooming around the yard with my doggy friends. I'm currently living with my foster mom, dad and their 3-year-old boy who I adore! We play together all the time—he throws the ball, I fetch it (most of the time), and we both giggle (well, he giggles, I wag). I’d absolutely love a home where I can have both two-legged and four-legged buddies to play with. Kids? Yes please! Other dogs? Even better! I'm a social pup who thrives on companionship, fun, and belly rubs. I’ve got lots of love to give, a tail that never stops wagging, and a heart full of puppy joy. Rocket Man is a dog with a strong personality. He is short and stocky, making him stand out among other dogs. Rocket Man enjoys being in control and likes to be the boss of the pack. He craves attention and loves being around people, always seeking out affection and playtime. However, his assertiveness can sometimes lead to him bullying less dominant or submissive dogs. Despite this behavior, Rocket Man's loving nature and need for human companionship make him an ideal companion for an active and experienced dog owner. He enjoys running around with other dogs at the dog park. With proper training and socialization, Rocket Man can become a loyal and loving pet who will always be by his owner's side. FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. OTHER PETS: Toby has been comfortable with other dogs, and seems to read body language well too. He would likely be a good match for another relaxed, social dog in the home, but as always will need to meet any dogs he will be living with prior to adoption. [Likely (Must Meet First)]OWNER EXPERIENCE: Toby is an easy-going dog, but he is older and may need more intensive vet care than a young dog. He would do best with someone that has an established relationship with a vet to ensure that he continues to age gracefully, and remains comfortable throughout his years. [Some Experience]KIDS: Toby has been tolerant of handling and hasn't shown any signs of resource guarding while at TJO. He could be a good match for a family with kids, but he is still an older dog and may not like to play as much as a higher-energy dog. Interactions between children and dogs should always be actively monitored to ensure that both parties remain comfortable and safe. [Likely (Must Meet First)]ACTIVITY LEVEL: Toby doesn't have as much interest in toys or running around as he probably used to. He's more interested in spending time with his favorite people, and is just as happy to laze around as he is to take a leisurely walk around the block. Interests may change in a new home, a combination of regular exercise and plenty of mental enrichment will help meet his needs. [Couch Potato]VETERINARY CARE: Toby is currently in need of a dental that TJO will provide. He may also have some renal issues that we are currently waiting on the blood test results for. [Above Average / Intensive]LEVEL OF TRAINING NEEDED: Positive reinforcement training will help Toby not only learn his basic cues & skills, but also help him to bond with his new owner as well.
