I’m Pacaya, an athletic, happy, and downright charismatic girl with a heart full of joy and paws made for exploring. I’m friendly, engaging and I has got a gorgeous coat that goes from a warm tan to a rich red when the sun hits me just right. I'm always ready for the next adventure — especially if it involves hiking, swimming and exploring(yes, I take the scenic route whenever possible). If you love the outdoors, we’re already best friends. Trails? I’m in. Lakes? I’m already splashing. Hills? I’ll meet you at the top, tail wagging proudly. I thrive with an active person or family who enjoys getting out and doing things — I make an excellent hiking buddy, jogging partner, or “let’s-see-what’s-over-there” companion. But don’t let my athletic side fool you — once the adventure is done, I’m all about the wind-down life. Belly rubs, ear scratches, lounging with my people and giving the best hugs are absolute perfection. Hi, my name is Vega and I am from Oklahoma. From her foster: They say I’m a Feist Terrier mixed in with something else. But I know I’m part human cause I’m happiest when I’m with my peeps! I’ve got going on a walk down pat, not pulling on the leash and always checking with my walker. Unless I see a bunny…or a squirrel! I do love me them squirrels! Foster mom says I’m very friendly and always happy to see other people. I’m working on staying in my kennel but prefer sitting with my peeps instead of alone. I love playing with other dogs and assume everyone is a friend. If you want a best bud, someone who wants to be by your side I’m your girl! Once I know you’re mine I’ll devote my life to making you happy! Vega plays with our dog and follows him around like a little sister. She sleeps all night in our back hallway, no accidents, until about 7 and then lets us know she wants everyone up! Due to her age she still needs guidance about the outside bathroom requirements but as long as she’s taken out regularly she’s good. She’s been very good with only chewing on her toys although she has developed an affinity for keeping one of our slippers by her side when chilling.

Hi, my name is Prance and I am from Georgia! From his foster: Prance is a sweet, playful boy who loves toys and likes to cuddle up in his bed! He does well with other dogs—he’s especially fond of our resident dog. He is a little timid at first but warms up quickly and has started to find his own personality! He has been doing really well with potty training. He sleeps well in his kennel and absolutely loves playing outside when the weather isn’t super cold. Prance is great with kids and loves our 1 year old son! He would do great with a home that has a yard to play in. He is ready to bring joy, snuggles, and plenty of tail wags to his forever home!
