She is very friendly and loves to chill with some attention. She gets along with other dogs but too many can be overwhelming to her. She has had no issues with kids or strangers. She is learning to use a dog door but will need puppy training. She does well in a crate so that might help. She is ready for her forever family.

He is a sweet athletic boy that craves affection. House, crate and leash trained. Completely vetted and ready for his forever home. Meet Newt! Newt is a sweet and loving 2-year-old Chihuahua mix who is happiest when he's close to his people. He's a total cuddle bug who loves a good snuggle, but he's also playful and always up for a game of fetch. He's a fetch natural, too: toss his toy and he'll happily bring it right back to you! Newt is also a natural on the leash and loves getting out for walks and exploring. He's doing really well with crate training and is potty trained. He's very food motivated (this little guy loves his meals and treats!), which makes him eager to learn and easy to reward. Newt is friendly with people and does well with other dogs and cats. He's an affectionate, fun little guy with lots of love to give. Whether you're heading out for a walk, tossing a toy around, or curling up on the couch, Newt is just happy to be part of the fun. If you're looking for a sweet, playful little companion who also takes his snuggling very seriously, Newt might just be your guy. Newt is 2 years old and 16 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, and have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested.
