Story
Taffy is an adorable long-legged Chihuahua mix, about 3 years old and weighing under 10 pounds. With her soft fawn coat and sweet floppy ears, she’s as cute as can be. Taffy is a gentle soul who is slow to warm up, but once she trusts you, she adores attention and love. She’s currently being fostered in San Bernardino County, CA, where she’s shown she’s fine with other dogs and even cats. However, Taffy would also be very happy as an only dog, soaking up all the love and cuddles for herself. True to her petite size, she has a quiet, delicate personality and would thrive in a calm, patient home where she can feel safe and cherished. Taffy’s adoption fee is $350. Meet Sweetheart – and yes, he lives up to his name! Sweetheart is a handsome tan Chihuahua who recently came into rescue with his two Chihuahua brothers after their owner passed away. Currently unneutered and in need of a little extra TLC, Sweetheart is searching for a patient and loving home where he can feel safe and cherished once again. Though initially shy, Sweetheart has a gentle and affectionate soul. Once he feels secure, he loves to be touched, gives the sweetest kisses, and will happily come to you for affection. Sweetheart spends time kenneled with his brother Delgado, and they get along beautifully. They would be thrilled to stay together in a forever home, but Sweetheart would also thrive with a family who can give him the love, patience, and gentle care he deserves. Sweetheart enjoys outdoor adventures, sniffing around the yard, and exploring at his own pace. With time and love, he will blossom into a loyal and loving companion who will make a wonderful addition to a quiet and patient family. Of the three brothers, Delgado is the most outgoing. Once he feels calm and stress-free, he enjoys being picked up, seeks out affection, and will even “talk” to you with his signature bark or little howl to let you know he’s ready for some attention. He’s a charming little character who loves to explore his surroundings and delights in being touched and cuddled, rewarding you with his sweet kisses. Delgado spends time kenneled with his brother Sweetheart, and they get along beautifully. They would be thrilled to stay together in a forever home, but Delgado would also thrive with a family who can give him the love, patience, and gentle care he deserves.
