Story
Chuck is the best little guy and so adorable in person. He is playful and affectionate and loves everyone. Chuck is great with other dogs and we can cat test. Just the perfect little 30 lb size  and this 1 year old will not get bigger. (Maybe a few lbs, but not larger in size). A must meet, for he will not disappoint - great family dog in need of a great family with a fenced yard. (IF YOU DO NOT GET A REPLY EMAIL WITHIN 24 HOURS, CHECK YOUR SPAM BOX AND SEND US YOUR PHONE NUMBER, FOR WE REPLY EVERY FEW HOURS TO EMAILS) LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER (Pregnant Dog Rescue) is a private, in home, all breed rescue facility. We exist only on the kindness of your donations and adoptions! We pride ourselves on being an HOLISTIC center and feed only holistic foods and various vitamins and supplements to all of our dogs. LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER dogs are well socialized, very friendly, and in wonderful health.  We stand by our pups/dogs, and give 10 days for a refund and almost always take our dogs back at any age of their lives (often depends on dog)! LMAC has an application screening process.  All applicants are asked to provide vet references, personal references, and a home visit.  We pride ourselves in matching up the right dog with the right home. Sometimes this happens quickly and sometimes it might take awhile. We hope you understand and are willing to wait for the perfect pup for your situation. We reserve the right to turn applicants down and to change our mind about a suitable match, for we are only concerned about what is best for our dogs.  Also note that we arrange our visiting hours around your schedule, as this is a private, in home facility.  We respond to all inquiries promptly, so if you have any trouble sending us an email, or have not heard back from us within 24 hours, please, CONTACT US AGAIN and check your spam!  (We all know how emails can be at times!) Our dogs are spayed or neutered (if old enough), up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested, and free of fleas and ticks.  We temperament test our  dogs and they are all suitable for many family situations. Our dogs are well mannered, know some basic commands, and are usually housebroken within a week of being with us (if old enough).  They are in our family/home situation at this time (not in kennels or crates, although most are crate trained) and are worked with daily.  All of our dogs do well with other dogs and many do well with cats. Adoption donations vary with age, breed, vetting, and training of the dog, and range from $250 to $695 (most being $595).  (We do not tend to place puppies or small dogs with kids under 6 and reserve the right to match who WE feel would be the best homes for our dogs.)     July 26, 2024, 1:08 pm

Story
Sam is truly the best dog - not a mean bone in him and loves everyone. Way cuter in person. Sam is just over a year old and is about 42 lbs of love and affection. He loves to be with his people and other dogs, and we can cat test. He is up for anything and truly just a fun, sweet, easy-peasy, eager to please, playful little guy. A great family dog in need of a great forever family. So much cuter in person and we are guessing at breeds, but he is adorable!!  LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER (Pregnant Dog Rescue) is a private, in home, all breed rescue facility. Story
Meet the adorable Marco! He is a 1 y.o., 23 lb. boy who may be a Feist/Shiba Inu mix possibly? He was an owner surrender at a WV shelter. He is very skittish, takes time to even warm up for petting and will take a very patient adopter to go super slow with him. He is goofy, loves other dogs and needs that in his new home to help him feel more comfortable. He is a flight risk, so a fenced yard is an absolute must! No exceptions! He escaped from original adopter and it took 6 weeks with the help of a search team to catch him. Also, for that reason no small children that can easily open a door where he might escape. He will be a great fit for a quiet, adult home. Please email katymk@ptd.net for an application to adopt. His adoption fee is $350 and he is neutered & current on vaccines. Must be within 1 hr. of Pottstown, PA in order to adopt.  Apply for Marco here- https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FHPA/Dog   July 25, 2024, 12:55 pm

Story
Toodles is a very sweet girl who had a rough start. She was kept outside 24/7 & given up because of digging and kept in a crate in an overcrowded shelter. But she is adjusting to home life with zest! She is house and crate trained. Toots is food motivated and learning basic commands like sit, drop/leave it, and wait. She’s is a total snuggle bug, very playful, and wants to explore but always have an eye on her person. She does well crated when her person leaves the house, with no separation anxiety. She’s doing well with intros to men, is crushing pack walks. And I think she’d be a fabulous running buddy for someone - she really wanted to join the runners at Valley Forge!   Toots would thrive in a home with a patient, mellow owner who will give her the support she needs. She would do best in a home with another dog. A home with a fenced yard is a must, as she has a lot of zoomies.  Apply for Tootles here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FHPA/DogJuly 25, 2024, 12:55 pm

Story
adoption donation : $699 weight 5 lbs  Age: 2 months as of 6/11   Elvis and his  siblings, Freddie Mercury, Taylor Swift, Joni Mitchell, Billy Idol and Elton John,  are adorable mixed breed pups who will be smaller dogs, we believe they are part feist and will likely be under 20lbs      The puppies are having a grand time in their foster home in Mississippi, running and romping together and snuggling into a great big puppy pile to nap. The puppies have had vaccinations, but will be spayed and neutered when they are older. Wags will pay for the procedure at one of the clinics that we use in the northeast or reimburse adopters what we pay if they choose to use their own vet.    Please note that Wags of Monroe county is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs. Wags desperately need to raise funds to help the sick and older dogs at the rescue. Adoption fees include the transport for Mississippi, spay or neuter, deworming, vaccines and microchip.
