With her petite size, she's the perfect cuddle buddy—and after a day of exploring and playing, she'll happily curl up in your lap for some snuggles. Nelly is doing wonderfully with both crate training and house training and is adapting beautifully to the routines of home life. She is eager to please, responds well to positive reinforcement, and has already proven to be a joy to train. As a Feist, Nelly embodies many of the qualities that make this breed such wonderful companions. Feists are known for their cheerful, active, happy-go-lucky personalities, intelligence, and devotion to their families. They are attentive, eager to learn, and highly trainable. While they love outdoor adventures and playtime, they're just as content relaxing close to their favorite humans. A 2-year-old, 36-pound mix of Feist and Terrier, Lulu came to us from a hoarding situation. She’s a lovely dog with a sweet personality who, upon first meeting can be shy, but will warm up quickly. She loves being stroked and loved; in fact, she’s very affectionate. We think she’s grateful that we brought her into rescue with us. She’s been treated for heartworm and is ready to go home with you! How about it? Show her what a real home is like! (posted 12/29/25, ME) NO CATS, PLEASE. ' ' Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip.
