Meet Bambi: A Tiny Fighter with a Huge Heart 🦌
In January 2026, while Houston was gripped by a deep freeze, a tiny soul was found shivering in an outdoor cabinet. Bambi, a Chihuahua/Min Pin mix, was emaciated and alone, but she refused to give up. Today, she’s a healthy, happy girl ready for her forever home!
True to her name, Bambi looks just like a baby deer with her fawn coloring and ears that are—quite frankly—magnificent. Plus, she has an adorable overbite that lets her "front teefies" peek out whenever she’s lounging on her back.
The Details:
The Vibe: A total Velcro dog. She wants to be by your side and burrowed deep under the blankets.
Social Life: She’s been great with cats and other dogs!
The Journey: Because she spent time starving on the streets, she does have some resource guarding issues. She needs a patient human who understands that she’s still learning that there will always be enough food to go around.
If you have a warm lap and a little patience, Bambi is ready to shower you with affection.
