Meet Lissy, the runt of her litter and the smartest! When she and her siblings need to be given medicine, she hangs back, when it's time for cuddles, she's the first to arrive, haha. She's learning to walk on a leash, and is usually very active, playful with dogs, cats, and although she's a little shy at first with people, she adapts very well to new environments in a short time. She will be a medium/large size, since she was always the smallest. She loves to look out the window at everything that happens, and if she has a playmate she could spend the whole afternoon playing. She came from Mexico 2 years ago when she was about 1 1/2 years old. I have taken her to some training classes but she does need more work. She can use a doggie door. She needs a family who can walk her every day because she is very active. Because of my job and moving this year, I don’t have the time to do more with her. She goes to the groomers once a month and does great with them. They really love her. She is affectionate and loves to be petted and her tummy rubbed. She doesn’t bite people but does like to jump up when I get home. She would do ok with another dog and likes to play with another dog. Her friend right now is Buster, our other dog. She likes to sleep with me.
