I’m friendly, engaging and I has got a gorgeous coat that goes from a warm tan to a rich red when the sun hits me just right. I'm always ready for the next adventure — especially if it involves hiking, swimming and exploring(yes, I take the scenic route whenever possible). If you love the outdoors, we’re already best friends. Trails? I’m in. Lakes? I’m already splashing. Hills? I’ll meet you at the top, tail wagging proudly. I thrive with an active person or family who enjoys getting out and doing things — I make an excellent hiking buddy, jogging partner, or “let’s-see-what’s-over-there” companion. She will be a medium/large size, since she was always the smallest. She loves to look out the window at everything that happens, and if she has a playmate she could spend the whole afternoon playing. This confident, spirited boy has a BIG, bossy personality and plenty of spunk for his age. He’ll thrive in an experienced, adult only home that understands and appreciates his independent nature. Leo is tolerant of respectful canine companions but ultimately prefers to be the king of the castle. He does not enjoy being picked up, so he’ll need adopters who can respect his boundaries and let him be his bold, self-assured self.
