Bao is a 13-month-old cream Chow Chow with a calm, loyal, and affectionate personality once he builds trust with his people. He is crate trained, potty trained, knows basic commands, walks well on a leash, and enjoys long walks, bird watching from the window, brushing sessions, belly rubs (when he asks for them), and plenty of treats. Around his family, Bao is gentle, quiet, and loves to relax nearby while still enjoying his independent Chow nature.I am looking for an experienced Chow Chow owner who truly understands the breed’s unique temperament, independence, and need for patience and structure. A home without children is strongly preferred, as Bao thrives in a calm, predictable environment. He would do best with someone who can continue building his confidence through positive reinforcement and provide the routine, love, and breed-specific knowledge he deserves. Bao is an incredible companion for the right person and has so much love to give once he forms a bond.

Meet Roger! Roger is an approximately 4 year old male Shetland Sheepdog mix who was found as a stray off Blackland Road in Rockwall County on September 16, 2026. Sadly, no one came forward to reclaim him, and he is now available for adoption! Roger is new to our crew, so we are still getting to know his personality but he has done well with young female dogs. A meet and greet is still suggested prior to adoption if you have other dogs in the home. Since Roger has just become available for adoption, he has not yet been tested with other dogs. If you have another dog in your home, a dog to dog meet and greet will be required prior to adoption to help ensure a good match. Roger's adoption fee is $125. He is neutered, microchipped, current on his rabies vaccination, basic boosters to date and heartworm negative. An approved online adoption application is required before scheduling a meet and greet. To apply to adopt Roger, please visit https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks.
