Story
Meet Sarang! A gentle four-year-old Jindo/Labrador Retriever mix currently in Fort Worth, TX, whose snow-white coat and soulful eyes are only matched by his love for people and peaceful strolls through the neighborhood. At 65 pounds, Sarang is the perfect blend of solid companionship and mellow energy. He’s house-trained, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations, ready to step paw-first into a new chapter with a new loving family. This big-hearted boy thrives on routine and structure, responding beautifully to several basic commands like sit, touch, shake, down, and wait. Though he hasn’t had formal obedience classes, his calm and attentive nature makes him a wonderful student of daily life. Sarang’s idea of a good time? A relaxing walk with his favorite human, followed by a satisfying meal and some quality downtime. He truly thrives as the only pet in the home where he can soak up all the attention and build a deep bond with his person. While he's friendly and playful with people of all ages, children and adults alike, he needs a home without other pets so he can feel secure and fully relaxed. He just blossoms when he has his human to himself, forming a loyal and devoted connection that is incredibly special! He does have a few quirks that add to his charm. Thunderstorms make him a little uneasy, and bath time isn’t exactly his favorite activity, but who among us doesn’t have a few things we’d rather skip? Health-wise, Sarang is doing well, with only a history of chronic ear infections to be mindful of. Sarang needs plenty of outdoor time to feel his best. Long walks, car rides, and simply being out and about exploring the world bring him genuine joy. He would be compatible with someone who can spend significant time with him and include him in daily routines, whether that means errands, weekend outings, or peaceful evening strolls. Being part of his person’s everyday life helps him feel confident and content. A fenced yard where he can safely explore would be a bonus, and a family that appreciates his gentle spirit will be rewarded with unwavering loyalty and heartfelt companionship! Are you ready to welcome a calm, devoted companion like Sarang into your heart and home? Story
Meet Oso! Oso is a 2-year-old male Chow Chow weighing 36 lbs who was found running at large in downtown Rockwall and sadly was never reclaimed. He is now available for adoption and ready to find a home that appreciates his unique and loyal personality. Oso embodies many of the classic Chow Chow traits — he's independent, observant, and forms strong bonds with his people. He may take a little time to get comfortable in new situations, but with calm, respectful introductions he warms up quickly and becomes a devoted companion. Oso does well with other dogs when introductions are taken slowly, and he is also good with people who allow him time to settle in at his own pace. Because Oso thrives in a calmer environment and prefers a more predictable routine, he is best suited for a home with older teens or adults. Once comfortable, he enjoys being near his people and will make a loyal, steady companion. Oso is currently living in a foster home, and he has already made himself quite comfortable in a home environment Oso is neutered, microchipped, current on his rabies vaccination, basic boosters are up to date, and he is heartworm negative. Adoption fee: $125 To apply to adopt Oso, please complete an online adoption application: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX.
