🌸Meet Pansy – A Precious Mama Looking for Her Forever Home! 🌸 Here are more photos and videos of Pansy: https://www.instagram.com/p/DPM9WucEqSA/?hl=en https://www.instagram.com/p/DPmcRnYgSJ-/?hl=en Pansy is the brave mother of Pine. They were rescued together, along with all of her puppies, from a city shelter in Korea where they were on the euthanasia list. At that time, her puppies were only 1–2 months old, and despite her own health struggles, she cared for them with everything she had. Pansy is a special dog, who is deeply loved and cared for by her foster. Pansy is now ready to travel to the Seattle area for her forever home!🌼 Name: Pansy Breed: Jindo Golden Retriever mix Estimated Age: 4 years Gender: Female Weight: 26.5 lbs Spayed/Neutered: Yes Energy Level: Indoors 3/10 Outdoors 7/10 (loves running in open fields where she comes alive!) Foster’s Comments: Pansy is a dog I truly love. If circumstances allowed, I would adopt her myself. She is very sweet but shy, so she needs time to adjust. If pressured, she will not open up, but with patience, she will eventually bond more quickly than she did with me. She may chase birds or cats, so care must be taken outdoors, and continued training to help her overcome her fear of strangers is recommended. Pansy is a gentle mother who cared for her puppies above her own comfort. To me, she has always been precious—not just a foster dog, but a beloved companion. I hope she finds a family who will treat her like a princess, free from fear, and give her the secure, loving home she deserves. She deserves a family who will cherish her as if she were the most special dog in the world. Dogs: Gets along with most dogs, may be startled if approached suddenly. Gets along well with foster’s two dogs. Cats: Chases cats (and birds) Kids: Seems to be afraid of children Wary of men, bonds slowly. Warms up faster to women Potty trained: 100% outdoors, needs walks 3-4 times a day Leash skills: Walks well, loves slow walks. Barking: Haven’t heard her barked: softly whines to go out Separation anxiety: None Mouthiness/Nipping: May nip out of fear if handled suddenly by strangers Behavioral: Still fearful of strangers; may run from unfamiliar men or children during walks. With the help of dog walkers, this has improved a lot but is not yet completely resolved. Personality/Habits: Very shy; dislikes being approached suddenly Favorite Things: Chew toys Ideal Family: Calm household, mostly women, preferably no children, who can provide frequent walks Health notes: Anaplasma: Tested positive, completed medication Parvo: Hospitalized with two puppies for mild Parvo; Pansy was the first to recover and be discharged Pelvic fracture surgery. May look slightly awkward when running, but it does not affect her daily life. Pansy is currently in a single-woman household, with her boyfriend staying over 3–4 days a week. Pansy is very close to her primary caregiver and follows her everywhere, showing a 10/10 bond. With her boyfriend, it took about four months for her to overcome her initial fear, and now she is friendly with him—she allows him to walk, pet, and hold her, showing a 6/10 bond. Pansy is a quiet, gentle, and precious girl who enjoys slow walks but comes alive when running in open spaces. She may be shy at first, but once she feels safe and with patience she blossoms into a deeply affectionate companion. This special, gentle soul is ready to be cherished and loved in her forever home.💗 Pls DM or fill out an adoption application via the link in our bio on Instagram. https://www.instagram.com/loveismighty__rescue/?hl=en

Story
🌿Meet Willow - Wildfire Survivor, Once Chained, Now Ready for Love Here are more photos and videos of Willow: https://www.instagram.com/p/DOIE2bsDh-k/?hl=en Willow's story is one of survival and hope. When the devastating wildfires swept through Andong, Gyeongsang Province, South Korea in March, he was found alone-chained and left behind while the flames closed in. By what can only be called a miracle, Willow survived, though the fire left burns on his back as a reminder of what he endured. Like many dogs in rural Korea, Willow had been kept on a chain, not as a family companion, but only to guard his owner's property. He knew little kindness, sleeping outdoors, and living a life of neglect and confinement. Name: Willow Breed: Jindo mix Gender: Male Age: 2 years Gender: Male Weight: 16-17 lbs Spayed/Neutered: Yes Willow was named after the willow tree, which symbolizes resilience, hope, and the strength to bend without breaking. It's the perfect name for a dog who has endured so much yet still greets the world with gentleness. Temperament & Behavior: Dogs: Willow loves other dogs. Before his foster home, he loved playing and having dog friends at the rescue center. His tail wags happily when he meets canine friends. Cats: Seems to be afraid of cats Kids: Older children People: Willow bonds deeply with those who spend the most time with him. He’s especially affectionate with his foster mom and her sister, following them around and showing his playful side. With men and strangers, he may be wary and timid at first, quietly cautious until he warms up. 100% potty trained , needs 3-4 walks a day (30 mins each) Crate trained and sees his crate as a safe, cozy spot Rarely barks — just the occasional soft growl at night noises No separation anxiety; he relaxes when left alone. Greets you you happily when you come home Gentle with his mouth, he may softly hold a hand when very happy, but never nips Loves squeaky toys, playing under blankets, fetch, and tug. Sometimes he resists putting on the leash, but once outside he’s a happy walker, especially when there are new scents to explore. Indoors, he’s calm and relaxed. Outdoors, he’s playful and curious. Willow is a balanced mix of independence and affection. He thrives in a calm, consistent routine. Health Notes: Ears can get moist and itchy. Needs regular cleaning. Burn injuries from the wildfire. Treated successfully. His coat was once dry and damaged from smoke exposure but has improved greatly with care. Ongoing grooming is recommended. Nails are brittle, trimming needs care. Slight cavities and tartar despite daily dental care. Will have a dental scaling before departure History of corrective surgery for angular limb deformity. Now fully recovered and active. Mild bronchial sensitivity. Currently on supplements. Willow’s Ideal Family: Has prior dog experience Can commit to daily walks and playtime Patient, gentle, and ready to let Willow bloom at his own pace Prefers a calm home with adults only. Foster’s comments: Willow is a sweet and gentle boy who, once he opens his heart, shows endless affection. He follows his family around, wagging his tail, and even comforts them if he senses they are unwell. He loves treats, but he loves his people even more. He waits by the door for his family to return, playfully taps with his paw for attention, and brings joy to those around him. We sincerely hope Willow finds a forever family who will cherish him, continue to nurture his gentle soul, and show him a bigger and brighter world filled with love. 💕 This resilient, sweet boy is ready for his forever home! Willow adoption fee is $750, plus $235 for U.S. Customs entry and broker fee. Story
Kirby is a fluffy, high-energy Keeshond looking for a fresh start with a family who understands her needs. Though she is an older girl, she is young at heart with plenty of pep in her step! She is a wonderful mix of enthusiastic walker and couch potato—ready for adventures in the neighborhood, but content to snooze the workday away indoors. Socially, Kirby is a "people dog" through and through. She is okay with other dogs, but due to past negative experiences where she was attacked, she doesn't go out of her way to make dog friends. She is essentially "dog neutral," preferring to focus all her attention on her human family. She needs an owner who will be her advocate and offer her safety. She has a thick double coat that needs seasonal grooming and a watchful nature that ensures she'll always let you know when packages arrive. If you can offer her coat care, daily walks, and endless cuddles to soothe her anxiety, she will be the most loyal dog you’ve ever owned.
