Story
Jessie was picked up as a stray so we don't have any background information on her. She looks a lot like a flatcoated retriever and acts a lot like one. She is very athletic, loves to runs and play and is very good with other dogs as long as they are not too overbearing with her. She will submit to them and then defend herself if pushed too far, not inappropriately, she just draws a line for them as to where is too much. She is very sweet with people and would likely make a very good dog for older children that are big enough to handle all her energy. She loves her treats and belly rubs. Not sure how she would be with cats, I am sure she would chase them if they ran, that would be an awesome game for her. PLEASE e-mail (do not call) mike@caaronline.org for more information and to set up an appointment to adopt. Do not e-mail us with a request to call you, if you have a question, please ask in the e-mail.   All dogs are adopted on a first come - first served basis. Story
Hailey has been with us since Feb 2023. A post of her, blew up on social media after someone came across the property. She had a large, open, grapefruit-sized mass hanging from her body that wasn't being treated! She was on a farm in rural California. Our founder just happened to be driving through CA to transport an adopted dog. She arrived at the property, offered to take her, and they said yes! They also gave us her daughter who had a mass on her mouth... The mass on Hailey was an aggressive form of cancer. After surgery and treatment, she has been in remission since July of '23! She's the sweetest girl you will ever meet. Good with dogs, cats, and people! She's affectionate and active. Loves walks, hikes, and even trotting next to a bike! Interested in Hailey? Story
PLEASE NOTE: This dog is courtesy posted for another individual or Rescue. Different policies and fees may apply.   Bonded pair dumped...who's looking for a bonded pair of sweet dogs?  Nova and her brother Reggie came to the boarding facility by their owner, and he never came back for them. We are hoping to have them adopted together, as they clearly love each other, but with the right home maybe separated.....These 2 are beyond AMAZING.... we had the pleasure of giving them a break living in a kennel since Jan 2024.  We are guessing Nova is around 1.5-2.5 years old, she is very friendly, loves to play, favorite thing to do is go in the water and play with her brother Reggie. She walks great on the leash. Rides great in the car. We do not know how she is with cats.  Located in Phoenix, AZ If you are interested in meeting this dog, please fill out either the Foster or Adopt application below  Adopt: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FPP/Dog   Foster: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/foster/FPP/Dog    May 6, 2024, 4:53 pm

Story
🐾 Introducing Chance, the charming two-year-old with a heart as big as his paws! 🐾 This lovable pup found himself in need of a new home when his previous owner unexpectedly crossed the rainbow bridge, but fear not – Valley Dogs stepped in with determination to help him find his forever family. Chance is a bundle of joy and affection, and he's on a mission to win over hearts with his boundless enthusiasm. Larger canine companions bring out the best in him, and human attention is his absolute favorite – just try resisting his irresistible charm! This sweet boy is all about the treats and will gladly sit for one, only to bounce back with love to spare. While he may be a bit exuberant, and his size is not to be ignored, we believe Chance will thrive best in a home with an experienced adult who can continue his basic training and provide the exercise he craves. Ideal for families with older children, Chance is ready to bring endless smiles and tail wags into your home. As for his compatibility with cats and smaller animals, it's a bit of a mystery, but with a bit of patience and proper introduction, who knows what friendships might bloom? Rest easy knowing that Chance is already neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his vaccines, ensuring a healthy and happy future together. The only thing missing is his forever family! Don't miss the chance to give Chance a chance – he's ready to steal your heart and become your loyal companion. To set up a meet and greet with this sweet pup in Mesa, Arizona, reach out to Paula at spwheels1@gmail.com. The adoption fee for Chance is $300.00, a small price for a lifetime of love and joy. Act now, and let the tail-wagging adventures begin! 🐶💕

Story
Hey there, I'm Gambril! At just 5 months old, I'm a lively lab mix with a penchant for adventure and play. Currently tipping the scales at around 40 pounds, my foster mom tells me I've got some impressive paws, promising that I'll grow into a fine, sturdy adult. Under her guidance, I'm mastering the art of being a well-mannered house dog. I've got the hang of using a dog door and am pretty reliable with potty breaks. Sitting? Check. Now, I'm honing my skills in staying put and lying down. Admittedly, I can get a tad overenthusiastic when meeting new folks, but I'm learning the ropes of managing my excitement. Like any typical lab, I thrive on chew toys to keep me occupied. But fear not, I haven't turned any furniture, clothes, or shoes into chew toys—my foster mom beams proudly at this accomplishment! While I'm working on managing my separation anxiety, I truly shine when I'm alongside a furry friend. I haven't met a dog I didn't adore yet! A backyard is a must-have for me, where I can stretch my legs with my new family. I live for the thrill of running and playing, so an active household would be perfect to channel my puppy energy positively. My foster mom insists I'd make an excellent hiking buddy or even a trusty hunting companion. Although I haven't dipped my paws into swimming yet, my webbed feet hint at my potential to become a skilled swimmer with the right encouragement. Are you ready for a new life of fun and loving kisses with me? Please contact my foster mom at TRACYBERTLESMAN@GMAIL.COM to fill out an adoption application. Thank you for opening up your home and your heart to a rescue puppy like me.

Story
Meet Cecil, the adorable Labrador mix with a heart of gold and a playful spirit! At 39 lbs, I'm still growing and bound to fill your life with even more love and joy. I've mastered the art of the doggie door, hitting success about 99% of the time! At night, I cozy up in my wire pen with a comfy doggie bed in my foster's bedroom. It's my safe haven, ensuring I don't get into mischief while everyone sleeps soundly. Meeting new people used to make me a little shy, but with each passing day, I'm blossoming into a social butterfly thanks to all the wonderful friends I'm making. I have a heart full of love for every dog I meet, and I dream of having a furry sibling to show me the ropes and teach me how to be an even better boy. I must have a home with a yard and daily walks to get my puppy energy out! Give me a chew toy, and I'll be one happy pup! I especially love the tough ones, but beware, I can make short work of stuffed toys. Keeping an eye on me is a must—I'm still mastering the art of good behavior! While I haven't dipped my paws in the swimming pool yet, I have a feeling I'll be a natural swimmer. I can't resist playing with water from the hose, pool, or beach.
