Bear is friendly and interested in everything around him - he is great on walks and enjoys "buddy walks" with other dogs. He enjoys the companionship of other dogs, but does not require a companion in his new home.   Bear is a big teddy bear at about 65 pounds. Originally listed as a Flat Coated Retriever, Bear was recently spotted by a lover of the Hovawart breed and they convinced us to list him as such. Oliver is a handsome male Retriever/Chow mix who is a loyal, loving, and easygoing dog with a heart of gold. This sweet couch companion is all about being close to his people. He is happiest when he's by your side. Whether you’re watching TV, working from home, or heading out for a drive, he just wants to be with you. He will do best in a home without other pets. He’s incredibly eager to please and full of personality — the kind of dog that makes you smile without even trying. While he’s not food-motivated, he thrives on praise and affection. Toys? He’s not too interested. But cuddles? Absolutely. Car rides are a breeze — he rides like a pro and even checks on you from time to time, making sure you're coming along for the journey. At the groomer, he was a total sweetheart, offering kisses instead of complaints. He already knows sit, down, and shake, and he’s wonderfully people friendly. He’ll even come check on you before heading outside to do his business — just to make sure you're part of the process! Oliver's $200 adoption fee includes a microchip, vaccinations, and neuter surgery. Hi everyone meet Baker! He's fun, adorable, and the most athletic dogs you'll ever meet! Baker loves hikes, and going on runs. If you need a best friend to exercise with he is the one for you! Baker is a great guard dog but also is friendly with other dogs, including small dogs and children. He doesn't know his own strength and could be kind of a "thug" but hes a sweet boy who just loves to play. He will play tug-a-war with you and likes to play tag, but if you try to fetch with him he may get bored by the 3rd throw. He is very intelligent and can learn new tricks. He is also food motivated so he can learn things very quickly. He loves to sniff around and explore, so hes the perfect companion for a hike or a walk/run. He loves the outdoors! If you live with other people, he can get separation anxiety and be more hyper, otherwise, if its just you and him he can be very calm. Overall hes a great dog but he needs lots of attention and I'm very sad to let him go but I travel now

Chestnut is a sweet and gentle boy. This boy is always up for running around the backyard. He loves swimming in the doggy pool, and wrestling with his brothers. He came into rescue when the rescue he was in closed down. He and his two brothers are the goofiest Lab mix boys. Mom was a Lab/Australian mix and dad is nowhere to be found. He will be a wonderful family dog. A great size, nice temperament and ready to be your bff. He is up to date on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped. Please come meet him and make this wonderful puppies life complete.

Once she warms up to her adult humans, she will show sweet, gentle side. Peep is a chewer so lots of chew toys are necessary. She could use additional training, and will progress quickly and be more than willing to please you. Peep would do well with a calm dog in the household that can teach her the ropes, but she would also be okay as an only dog. Peep just needs some time to adjust to a new home and family. Once she gets to know you, she will be your ride-or-die girl. Complete an application and meet Peep.
