Story
Sweet Roger is a big, loving boy looking for his forever home! He loves car rides, absolutely LOVES to play and loves people! He came into rescue as a puppy found with a jar of peanut butter stuck on his head. He was adopted as a puppy but came back into rescue as an adult through no fault of his own. Now he is waiting for his adoptive family that will love him FOREVER!!! Just for fun and curiosity, his foster mama did a DNA test of him that should be back this week. Message to come meet him and see what his DNA test says!

Story
Finn is a goofy, loveable 6 year old dog. We’ve had him since he was a puppy and have sadly come to a situation in which 1) we can’t give him the amount of exercise he needs to thrive and 2) he’s too exciteable/uncoordinated to be safe around our small children. He has also become overly protective of our kids. Finn is an amazing hiking/running/adventure buddy and he loves life. He’s snuggly, affectionate, energetic, food motivated, loyal and smart. We love this dog and are torn up about rehoming him but want him to be in a context where he can truly flourish.

Story
Sunny is a one year old Lab/Pit Mix. She is good with big dogs or dogs her size. She might be great with smaller dogs, but she does love to play! Sunny has been great with all kids and adults she has met. She is crate and leash trained and knows how to sit and give paw. Cuddling is her absolute JAM! Sunny is the most easy going all she ever wants to do is play. She is currently in an apartment and would be a great apartment companion but does prefer to run around in a yard. A fun fact about her is she’ll pet you and lean up all on you when she wants your attention 🥹 She’s such a sweet girl and is just so relaxed. she loves being outside!! And she’s such a hiker! Here is what Sunny’s foster has to say about her: From the first time I met Sunny she was honestly the sweetest soul. She’s very scared at first because of her rough past, but beyond that give it like 5 minutes and she’ll be crawling in your arms. She is SO AFFECTIONATE!! To think this baby started her life rough just breaks my heart. Another thing about Sunny is that she loves to go outside!! She’s great with dogs! She’s just a chill baby you love having her by your side because you also have a best friend! Stated before that she also has been getting training provided from the wonderful rescue and she is improving!! Her recall is honestly pretty good and I was very surprised. And the best thing about Sunny is she keeps just showing you how amazing of a dog she is! She’ll require patience, understanding and Lots of love! Let’s find this baby her forever home!! 🥹💕 https://forms.gle/dmg5AAqnfiQBLAbZAon!

Story
Bentley is a two year old Lab/Pit mix. He likes to play with dogs, but they should be his own size as he plays hard. His current foster does not have any cats or kids younger than 14. Bentley enjoys slow introductions when meeting new people. Bentley went through training with our friends at Tip Top Training where he learned commands (i.e. off, come, place, heel, break), socialization skills with people and dogs, and leash training. He enjoys fetch, tug of war, play, walks, and cuddling with his humans. He is not a fan of being brushed, crowds, and noisy trucks/busses passing. Bentley must have a yard for exercise, he is not a candidate for an apartment, and would like other dogs his size to play with. Bentley really likes ice cubes, riding in the car, dog ice cream, and chasing birds | His fosters say the following about Bentley : Bentley is a handsome black lab mix puppy who was abandoned with 2 other dogs (not found) when his owners were evicted from their Phoenix apartment. He's house trained and has the softest ears. He's very smart, can sit and shake hands, as well as participate in group hugs with his foster family. He loves walks, chasing birds, fetch, tug of war and puppy ice cream as well as belly rubs. He would do well in a home with a large yard and other dog(s) to play with. https://forms.gle/jQYS1HLdyW6iyn3P7

Story
This is Kato, a 15 month-old pup who made it immediately clear to me how super friendly and loving he is. He is a young Shepherd mix who just needs a home of his own. He is so gentle taking treats and all he wants is attention and affection from every human he meets. He loves lots of pets, playing tug and fetching any kind of toy or ball that is available. He will fill your lap with every ball he finds until you pay attention and throw the ball. He loves giving hugs, lots of kisses and will try to climb in your lab if you let him. He likes water, paddle boarding and is getting use to car rides as he gets a pup cup almost every time we go for a ride. He is potty trained, doesn't like the crate but non destructive while home alone. He walks pretty well on a leash but still needs some guidance to not pull ahead. When excited he can be a jumper but listens really well and calms down if you focus him to sit. He can sit, lay down and we are currently working on roll over and give paw. His ideal home would be someone who equally likes to be out and about outdoors but also likes to snuggle on the sofa while you read a good book or binge your favorite show on Netflix . Kato is looking for that special someone that wants a dog who is eager to please, loving and just a happy go lucky dude. Kato would benefit and would thrive in training and agility classes as he is a pretty smart cookie. If you currently are not looking to adopt would you consider fostering Kato? https://forms.gle/2cQd7SGJvmh6MjYH8

Story
Hello, I'm Montana, a Lab/Staffie mix with a heart full of love! My story began in March when I was captured by the dog catcher while pregnant. Thankfully, Valley Dogs Rescue came to my rescue. They provided me with a safe haven to deliver my 10 adorable puppies. Most have found their forever homes, and now it's my turn. At 3 years old, I'm up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped, ready to find my forever family. The ideal home for me would include a spacious yard for playtime and a family committed to giving me daily exercise. I'm a fan of walks, though I can get a bit overexcited on the leash. But don't worry, I'm working on improving that! I've learned commands like sit and stay, especially when guided by hand signals along with verbal cues. I'm still perfecting my recall, but I'm a diligent learner. I share my current space with a cat, although we mostly coexist without much interaction. With a proper introduction, I could learn to love another feline friend. I'm also friendly with other dogs, given a proper introduction. Are you ready to make room in your heart and home for me? I'm determined to be the best friend you've been looking for! To learn more and meet me, please email ADOPT@VALLEYDOGS.COM to request an application. I'm excited to meet you!

Story
**CAPTIVATING CRUSH** Age 2.7yrs Phoenix AZ. Well he is very aptly named ...because we all have a "crush" on him already! WOW....what a great boy he is! He was adopted out a couple of times from county but returned both times before even getting a chance to settle in and de-compress. They said he was very smart, learned quickly, house trained and not the slightest bit aggressive....he was returned because he had too much energy...well duh...he is a puppy! He is a beautiful, smart affectionate boy who just needs a home that understands puppy energy. He would be perfect for an active family that can give him the energy output and mental stimulation he needs. He is a Labrador Retriever/Dalmation mix, neutered, up-to-date on shots, microchipped, playful and gorgeous!

Story
Hi my name is Jaguar and I am very sleek. I was found on the mean streets of Tijuana and was in very poor health and almost died. I have been in Baja's sanctuary for months and now fully recovered and ready for. for a home I was abused badly on the streets and am scared/shy when I first meet you. You will need to spend an hour to get me to trust me. a little and it will take 3+ days for me to fully warm up to you. I am very loving dog but you are going to have work a little-not too much to be your friend
