#A5741091 Kenai is an 11-month-old, 61 lb spayed female Flat-Coated Retriever mix with a sleek black coat and a gentle, soulful presence. Surrendered by her owner, Kenai is still adjusting to the shelter environment and can be a little nervous at first. With patience and kindness, she begins to relax and show her sweet, trusting nature. She’s a soft-hearted young dog who just needs someone willing to go slow and let her build confidence at her own pace. Kenai walks nicely on leash, is very gentle, and already knows “sit.” She’s smart and eager to learn, making her a great candidate for continued training. She does very well in playgroup with other dogs and enjoys calm, positive social interactions.
