Story
This is Lady. She’s a little bit crazy (in a good way; she just needs more training). She’s a rescue. About four years ago, as a 3 or 4 month old puppy, she was found in the rain one night and rescued, then given to a foster mom who reached out. Vet seemed to think she’s a terrier/retriever mix. Has short, white hair. We suspect that she was running from abuse 😞 as she’s very wary of men. She’s still skittish around husband if he’s standing up, but will go to him if he’s sitting or laying back. But loves on me and adult daughter. Does well with our cat-they’ll even lay next to each other and occasionally play. But we’ve kept her from children and other dogs. She is house trained. She brings you toys or shoes when you return home. She knows several commands (sit, lay down, speak, stay, get the fly). She likes catching bugs and reacts to what’s on TV. She needs more attention than we can give her, but mostly, we’re going to be moving and won’t be able to take her with us.
