Story
Meet Rambo From loss… to survival… to learning how to trust again. Rambo’s story is one of heartbreak and resilience. After losing his owner, he and three other dogs were left behind—unnoticed and unattended. His father was found deceased, still tied to a chain. In a desperate fight to survive, Rambo and his brother Ruckus broke free. When help finally arrived, Rambo watched everything he knew disappear. His mother was taken and later humanely laid to rest due to cancer. Rambo himself was trapped days later—separated from his brother and placed into a shelter where fear and confusion took over. But then… everything changed. Ruckus was found. And when they were reunited, Rambo finally began to heal. Today, Rambo is a gentle, soulful dog with the most tender eyes. He may take a little time to trust, but once he does, he becomes a loyal, loving companion who just wants to be near his person. Perks  Sweet, calm, and affectionate  Loves toys (especially balls )  Enjoys walks, car rides, and outings  Happy to relax by your side  Needs  Calm, patient home  Crate when unattended  Secure yard (supervised only)  Extra awareness with doors and leash (flight risk)  Ideal Home Rambo's ideal home would have a quiet, stable environment with someone who is home often or has a steady routine. He would love to be adopted with his brother, Ruckus, although it isn't required. Rambo has been through more than most dogs ever should—but he hasn’t lost his ability to love. He just needs someone to give him a chance… to feel safe again, and to finally have the forever home he deserves. ##1338938##

Story
Meet Ruckus Sweet, sweet Ruckus… where do we begin? Ruckus is looking for a home where he can shine on his own time. With love and patience, his true personality will come out—and he will be the most incredible companion. After his owner passed, Ruckus and three other dogs were left behind, unnoticed. His father died still tied to a chain. In the chaos, Ruckus and his brother broke free—but one by one, his family was taken, leaving him alone… often found sleeping beside his father’s body. A kind neighbor stepped in, and we were able to get him to safety and reunite him with his brother, Rambo. That reunion changed everything. Ruckus slowly began to open up, finding comfort and healing alongside him. Perks  Sweet, soulful, teddy bear energy Calm, gentle, and loves quiet companionship and constant touch  Food motivated—treats win him over   Low-key, easygoing homebody  Needs   Flight risk – must be handled carefully  Never unattended in a yard  Crated when alone  Secure leash at all times  NEVER off-leash in unfenced areas  Ideal Home Ruckus would thrive in a calm, quiet home with someone who's around often. He loves the simple life—lounging, watching TV, and just being near his person. A secure yard for supervised time is ideal. Quiet walks may come with time, but busy environments aren’t his thing. He would LOVE to be adopted with his brother Rambo (please ask!), but understands if that’s not possible. All Ruckus is asking for is a safe place to land and someone to believe in him... could that be you? ##1338937##

Story
Marty is a very friendly boy who was found near the border, jumping on cars and searching for his previous family. Luckily, a kind person brought him to us so he could get the care he deserves. Marty is around 1.5 years old and we believe he's a mix of Flat-Coated Retriever, Lab, and Border Collie. He walks well on leash, knows his basic commands, and is very food motivated. Marty is eager to please and truly a lovely boy. He absolutely loves to play and has a fun, energetic personality. Because he can be a bit mouthy during play, he would do best in a home with dog-savvy kids who understand his playful nature. Marty gets along great with other dogs and loves romping around at the dog park. He would thrive with an active family that can give him plenty of exercise, playtime, and love. If you think you're ready to add to your family by adopting Marty, then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps. Story
We adopted Stella from a rescue in Mexico when she was 6 months old. By that time she had already survived parvo and distemper! She is a sweet dog but does have anxiety and would do best in a house with a yard and no children. We are finding her a new home because she has started exhibiting concerning behavior towards our toddler. She loves to relax at home and run around our backyard, due to her anxiety she does not like to go on walks. Due to her illnesses as a puppy she does have arthritis that only affects her if she runs too much. She also has history of ACL repair to both back legs and a surgery to her right front leg to correct a damaged radial growth plate (all 3 surgeries were in the first year we had her and she has not had any since then).
