Meet Prancer, a 6-week-old Retriever puppy with a shiny black coat accented by beautiful white and silver markings, currently weighing about 10 pounds. He earned his festive name because he can’t help but dance around with excitement whenever he sees you, greeting everyone with pure joy. Prancer has a wonderful puppy personality—adventurous, affectionate, snuggly, playful, confident, gentle, and endlessly curious about the world around him. Prancer is one of seven puppies from a rescued mom, and this sweet litter will be ready to head to their forever homes right before Christmas. Prior to pickup, he will receive his first set of vaccinations, be dewormed, and microchipped. Prancer is located in San Bernardino County, California. The adoption fee is $400. Java: The Sweet Soul Who Sees with His Heart A whole lot of special is wrapped up in this affectionate, loving package just waiting for you. Hi, I’m Java. I’m a Yellow Lab mix, 2.5 years old, about 65 pounds, and yes, I’m blind in both eyes. I may still see shadows, but I get around just fine using my other senses. I’m neutered, up to date on all my shots, heartworm negative, and ready for my next chapter. I lost my vision a while back, and after that, my family took me to the shelter. They didn’t have space for a dog like me anymore. It happens, but it doesn’t mean I’ve lost my joy or my hope. I may be blind, but I’m still full of life, love, and a whole lot of personality. I’ve learned to adapt quickly to new environments. Once I get the lay of the land, I’m good to go. You don’t need to change your house or move your furniture. Just give me a little time, and I’ll learn my way around. I’m a smart guy, and I never give up. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s mastered the art of resilience, that’s me. I love to take long walks. I may not see the path, but I sure love to smell it, hear it, and feel the world beneath my paws. I get along great with other dogs and have met a few cats too — we just kind of do our own thing. I don’t chase, and I don’t bother them. I’d probably do best with older kids, maybe 12 and up, only because I don’t want to accidentally knock over the little ones when I get excited. And I do get excited. I love meeting new people. I love belly rubs. I love being part of your day, whether we’re out walking or curled up together on the couch. I’ve been through some hard things, but I’m still hopeful. Still grateful. Still ready for love. If you’re the kind of person who sees beyond what’s missing and recognizes the beautiful soul standing right in front of you, I hope you’ll reach out. Reader: Goofball, Lovebug, Ball-Chaser Extraordinaire I don’t know how I got my name, since I can’t read, but I do know how to bring joy wherever I go. I’m a 1.5-year-old chocolate Lab mix, about 50 pounds of happy-go-lucky, tail-wagging energy. My pictures don't do me justice. I am more handsome! And... I’m a total goof. I love people. I love dogs. I love life. I flop on my side, tongue out, just to ask for pets. If you sit, I’ll be there nudging your hand for love. I move from person to person like I’m handing out smiles. I ended up in a crowded shelter after getting lost or left behind. It was loud and overwhelming. I landed on the list no dog wants to be on. But someone believed in me and pulled me out. Now I’m in Georgia, waiting for the kind of person who wants to meet me. I’m neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and ready for a forever home. I get along great with other dogs and walk well on a leash. I haven’t met cats yet, but we can take that slow. I’m gentle with kids and a big fan of their snack-dropping skills. And the ball. I love the ball. I don’t always bring it back, but I chase it with my whole heart. If you have a kiddie pool, even better. Splashing around is one of my favorite ways to spend the afternoon. I’m young, playful, affectionate, and chill when I need to be. There are no red flags. Just a sweet, goofy dog who wants to be part of your life.
