This is Goldie. She is a beautiful, 18 month old Lab mix. She is house trained, quiet and a bit shy. She is learning to walk on a leash at the rescue. She has been an only dog in her past home. We have not put her with other dogs yet, only beside them in the play yard. She lived in a home with an older man who could no longer care for her. She would do best in a quiet home.

She walks on a leash and has mostly been outside. She was good the few times in the house. Her family can no longer afford to care for her. Prior to the home she had for the past 2 years she was used for breeding and lived in a kennel. She is longing for a home that will love and care for her.

This is Hennessey. What a wonderful dog. She has been part of a family with children, cats and other dogs. She is house trained, loves playing and sleeping with the children. She rides well in the car, loves to swim, and gives kisses. Her DOB is 4/17/18. She has been with her family since she was a small puppy. She is trying to be brave, now in need of a home. The family moved to an apartment that does not allow dogs. She is about 66 lbs. We are praying she will not be with us long and we’ll find her new family soon.

Billy Boy, Our One-Of-A-Kind Superdawg Billy boy found himself as one of the longest residents at the Riverside Shelter in Southern California. He was there for over 100 hundred days, had been in many play groups, and extremely social with people and other four legged friends. He thought he had been lucky and found a home but was brought back after 24 hours because he was so excited they felt he had too much energy. Now he’s been rescued and is looking for his new family. He loves to go for walks and hang out with his people.  Billy enjoys his treats and will sit pretty to get them and takes them gently from your hands - no fingers involved.  His unique looks and character make him one-of-a-kind, and he's ready when you are to be a part of your family.  ##2550451##

Valor loves to play with other dogs so we would like to see that aspect of his life continue but have a loving family who will make him their family. Valor loves water, car rides, walks and pretty much ANYTHING you want to do. He IS the perfect best friend!!!! Personality: Loyal, Loving, Smart, Highly Trainable, Playful, Friendly, Sweet Needs: A soft gentle family. Loving, kind, playful, engaging, active. Valor has grown up in his loving foster home with several other pups. Because of this, we really want him to go to a home that has a polite, playful companion and a family who will provide him with water fun, exploration, walks and bring him in as a full loving companion. Valor's Mom is a German Shep Dog and his Dad was a Black Labrador. Valor's Story: Valor's Momma "Mia" gave birth to 10 puppies on a blazing hot summer day under a boulder on an abandoned illegal pot farm. We were able to retrieve them on DAY and raise them in our loving care. ALL of the other pups got adopted except Valor and through no fault of his own. Black dogs are always last, sadly. Valor does not know he is not with his forever home. He is happy, loving and leads a rich life with walks, lake play, and doggy play. He eats premium food and sleeps indoors with his family. For this reason we want his adoption family to be forever loving and kind. Valor is never meant to be a fad dog to be left behind in the back yard. He is forever love. Harlow is a 4-year-old Lab mix (born January 2021) who’s incredibly smart, sweet, and loyal. Sadly, I’ve developed asthma due to allergies, and with our recent move to a no-dog rental, we can no longer give her the life she deserves. She’s kennel trained and currently spends nights inside and days in a 10x16 outdoor run, but she needs more—walks, adventures, and time with someone who will give her the attention she craves. Harlow is full of energy, eager to please, and quick to learn, but she does need a bit more leash training and consistency to bring out her best. She thrives on love, structure, and activity, and with the right person she will be the most loyal companion you could ask for. We’re heartbroken to let her go, but we’re committed to finding her the perfect home where she can be truly happy. Serious inquiries only—Harlow deserves the right fit.
