Bongo is a beautiful 1 1/2 year-old pure chocolate lab. She has been living outdoors (indoors in a crate at night) with a 3 1/2 year-old boxer mix. Bongo lives with a family of 6, the youngest boy is 7 years-old. Bongo is a very high energy dog and needs some training. She loves to play, but when she gets excited, she is a jumper and a nipper. She can knock down the kids and nearly some adults. Bongo is not house broken. We have a small backyard and our neighbors have complained to our landlord and animal control about Bongo. We can no longer keep Bongo at our rental house. With work-at-home parents and 4 kids, Bongo does not get the attention that she needs. We are sad to have to rehome her. She will make an excellent companion with love and patience.

Mac is a lazy, goofy puppy who loves kids, other dogs, and cats. We found Mac a month or two ago off of the street. He is gentle and sweet with us and our other animals. However, at this time we just don't have the time, money, or patience to train and maintain another puppy because we already have 2 dogs and 3 cats. Mac is semi active but definitely enjoys a lazy day snuggling in bed. He will cry at the door to go potty but has had a few accidents when he was left at home by himself. We have gotten him to sit and are working on lay down. His recall to his name is okay but needs work. He can pull on a leash but with some training I think he would learn quickly not to. Overall a good dog, if I had more time I would definitely keep him.

Gracie came to us at 5mos old. She is a happy to be around you type of dog. She just follows me around the house. Gracie is now 2yrs 8mos old. She loves to run outdoors. She loves other large dogs. Small animals are treated like stuffed animals. She loves to jump and run. She is highly trainable. We have not spent much time training. She knows sit, down, paw, outside, eat, in the house, out my kitchen and treat. Gracie sleeps with me on my bed. She gets anxious if left alone too long. She love to wrestle with our 200 lb bull mastiff. She loves routine and anticipates the consistency. She needs lots of space outside to run and play. Gracie likes to play with kids but knocks them down cause she is so fast and strong. Gracie and the cat have gotten entangled twice. The cat gets along with the other dog but Gracie wants to eat the cat. She is just doing what dogs do and it is not fair that we are not able to handle it. We have a newborn coming and we just can't she needs a home

Brooklyn was rescued from a shelter in San Bernardino. Brooklyn (Brookie) is approximately 9 years old and weighs about 35 lbs. Brookie is a semi feral dog. we believe her breed is a Labrador/Dachschund Mix. We have had her a while and never posted her because she is amazing with other dogs and she is who we use to temp test dogs and we have just let her be. We have worked with her off and on but just recently we started working with her more because we have had the time to focus on her and she is making great progress. We can pet her and leash her. She is doing great on the leash. Brooklyn will jump up on the couch and she will relax and we can pet her. She takes treats from our hand and follows us around. She will jump up on the back of our legs for attention. She wants the attention and love so bad but doesn’t know how to receive it. She jumps up on the bed and she will nudge my hand and roll over for me to pet her belly. We are looking for an adopter for her that will take the time to work with her. Brooklyn is a very special girl to us. She would do best in a home with at least one other dog and a yard. Her best furfriend is Molly who is also available for adoption. Lexi is a loving dog . Shedaily. She loves water, except from the hose. She loves to fetch , balls,frisbees, anything. She stays outside during the day and stays inside at night. She is not a constant barker , but she does bark at squirrels and rabbits and strangers. She has had her puppy shots . I haven’t had her fixed yet and she is due for her annual rabies vaccine. She eats dry dog food that I buy from Costco. She likes pig ears to chew on. She travel well in a vehicle. We have a jeep and have been on many road trips with her. We take her for walks daily . She is a light shedder. She is for the most part aloof to other dogs on walk. She hasn’t had a chance to play with other dogs much. She has other dogs that she is familiar and friendly with. Her birth date is January 3 2023 so she is a little over 20 months old. She will dig and chew if she is bored, still a puppy.She is very obedient and learns very fast. She is part Melonoise so she has lots and lots of energy.
