Story
Goose is the perfect little wingman. Wherever his brothers go, he is right behind them, taking it all in and making sure he does not miss a thing. He may be cautious at first, but he is not intimidated, even big dogs do not faze him. He carries himself with quiet confidence and a steady spirit. Goose loves his people, big and small, and enjoys attention, but he is also wonderfully independent. While his brothers are busy wrestling outside, he is perfectly content grabbing a toy and entertaining himself. He is the kind of pup who can balance affection and adventure with ease. He is a sweet, happy boy, but do not expect him to sit still for endless snuggles, he has important puppy business to attend to. Goose is curious, thoughtful, and full of personality, and he is going to grow into a loyal, well rounded companion. You can apply directly for Goose by clicking the Apply for Adoption button on the linked page. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-819 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. Story
Meet this handsome 3.5-year-old Flat-Coated Retriever mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart! This sweet boy is happiest when he's with his people and isn't shy about showing it—expect an enthusiastic greeting complete with happy jumps to say hello. He's a smart, food-motivated pup who already knows sit, paw, and is working hard on mastering down. With tasty treats and a little patience, he's eager to keep learning. This fun-loving guy has high energy and is always ready for adventure once he's medically cleared. He loves chew toys and is a bit of a chatterbox, so don't be surprised if he has plenty to say throughout the day! Right now, he's undergoing treatment for heartworms, which means he'll need a calm home where he can take it easy and avoid strenuous activity while he recovers. It may be a challenge for such an active boy, but with proper treatment and a little patience, he'll be ready to enjoy all the adventures life has to offer. This boy will need a cat-free home, as he does not do well around feline friends. If you're looking for a loyal companion who loves people, enjoys learning, and will happily offer you his paw (and plenty of affection), this lovable retriever mix could be your perfect match. All he needs is a family willing to help him through his recovery and give him the loving home he deserves. Abraham is available for adoption only in the Atlanta area; He must be able to come to Furkids' shelter for treatments. and his adoption fee is $315. Abraham has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. If you want to know more about Abraham, please complete a survey at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FKDS/Dog. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you within 72 hours to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet. Story
Our family has had Ranger for about 11 years. We adopted him when he was about a year old, but within that time we have had 4 kids and mom has had to go back to work. Between work, school, and extracurricular activities it seems that we do not have the time to give the loving care that Ranger deserves and needs. He is great with kids and other dogs. He is very quiet and friendly. He also has a mini Australian Shephard sister that is 3 years old that we are trying to rehome. I would love for them both to go together if possible. She keeps him young and active! Please feel free to ask any questions about him, as we would love for him to go to the caring and kind family.

Story
Harley is a bundle of joy with a heart just as big as his energy! This happy pup is always on the move, with a tail that rarely stops wagging and a curious mind that’s ready for anything. Smart, playful, and full of personality, Harley truly is the whole package. One of Harley’s favorite things in the world? Squeaky toys and Benebones! He loves tossing toys in the air, chasing them down, and squeaking them with determination until he declares victory. He’s perfectly happy entertaining himself but is always thrilled when someone joins in the fun. Harley absolutely loves playtime, whether it’s zoomies in the yard, chasing dog friends, or starting a game of tug. He plays great with other dogs and responds well to corrections, making him a wonderful playgroup buddy. His playful energy and friendly personality make him a favorite with his canine pals. When the fun winds down, Harley also enjoys the simple things—like riding in the car with the windows down, soaking up the sunshine during a relaxing sunbathe on the porch, or heading out on an adventure. He does well in public and would make a great shopping partner for outings and errands. Harley is very well potty trained and has not had a single accident in his crate. He’s quiet when crated and settles nicely. He’s incredibly eager to please, quick to learn, and always ready to show off his good-boy skills. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, smart, and playful best friend who will keep you smiling and ready for adventure, Harley might just be your perfect match.   Harley is being sponsored by Three Tails Dog Boarding  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 26, 2026, 2:21 pm

Story
Spirit may be a little shy when you first meet her, but give her a little time and you’ll quickly see her sweet personality shine through. Once she warms up, she’s full of love, playful energy, and puppy curiosity. She absolutely loves toys and has a great time playing with other dogs! Still just a puppy, Spirit is learning the ropes of living in a home. She’s already crate trained and doing her best with potty training—she’s a smart girl and catching on more every day. With a little patience and consistency, she’s going to make an amazing companion. Spirit has such a gentle, loving soul. One of her favorite things to do is stretch out and soak up the sunshine, enjoying the simple comforts of feeling safe and cared for. Her story started off a little rough—she was found in a ditch with her siblings and wasn’t being properly cared for. By the time she was rescued, she had a severe worm infestation that nearly cost her life. Thankfully, she was brought to the vet just in time and given the care she needed to pull through. Now, Spirit is healthy, happy, and ready for her second chance. All she needs is a loving home to continue growing, learning, and sharing all the sweetness she has to give  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 26, 2026, 2:21 pm
