Story
Piper is a great dog. House trained, sleeps 10 hours in a crate, and does not chew on anything. She loves to snuggle with you and loves attention. Piper has a lot of energy and would be great for young children. She is good with other dogs, but hates cats :). She would make a great addition to any home. We are an older couple, and feel that we are not giving her the attention she needs at her age, which is the only reason we are looking for a new home for her.

Meet Buddy! 🤎 Buddy is a handsome 3-year-old brindle Lab Mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for treats! This sweet boy craves attention from his people and is always ready to soak up affection. Buddy is very treat motivated, eager to learn, and excited to show off just how smart he can be with a little guidance and consistency. He’s an active guy who enjoys walks, playtime, and running around to burn off some energy. Buddy would thrive in a home where he can stay active, continue learning, and build a strong bond with his family. He also does well with other dogs and would enjoy having a canine friend to play with. Because he can be a little overwhelmed by too much activity, he would do best in a home without children. Buddy is ready for a fresh start and can’t wait to find a loving home where he can truly shine. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with lots of potential and plenty of love to give, Buddy may just be your perfect match! He's available for foster or adoption at the Animal Protective League, located at 1001 Taintor Road in Springfield. We are open every day from noon to 5 p.m.
