As a rescue, We do not euthanize dogs but dogs that are listed as URGENT are still waiting to be saved from animal control and they do euthanise. We can only save them when space is available or have an adopter. Meet Athena! Athena is a sweet fluffy girl who is around 12 weeks old. She weighs 18#s and super sweet! She does have something wrong with her rear leg, she’s been to the vet for x rays and it’s an old break, it’s starting to fuse, she will put weight on occasionally but usually doesn’t. The vet recommended a wait and see approach, at her age she may use it more as it heals more or it could require amputation, we can do that here prior to adoption. She doesn’t let it slow her down at all.

Story
Goose is the perfect little wingman. Wherever his brothers go, he is right behind them, taking it all in and making sure he does not miss a thing. He may be cautious at first, but he is not intimidated, even big dogs do not faze him. He carries himself with quiet confidence and a steady spirit. Goose loves his people, big and small, and enjoys attention, but he is also wonderfully independent. While his brothers are busy wrestling outside, he is perfectly content grabbing a toy and entertaining himself. He is the kind of pup who can balance affection and adventure with ease. He is a sweet, happy boy, but do not expect him to sit still for endless snuggles, he has important puppy business to attend to. Goose is curious, thoughtful, and full of personality, and he is going to grow into a loyal, well rounded companion. You can apply directly for Goose by clicking the Apply for Adoption button on the linked page. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-819 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. This benefit includes free access to Petcademy's team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle your new family member into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours (Monday-Friday).

Story
2 lab sisters Bear (green collar) and Honey (pink collar). Born on 1/22/2025 from 2 pure bred chocolate labs, just couldn’t find dad’s paperwork. Their dad is my mother’s dog. They were recently given back to us by a family member who can no longer care for them. I’ve had them for the past 2 months, but I keep a very busy schedule and can’t care for them as they should be. They had their puppy shots and everything, but unsure if they had their 1 year shots. Would highly prefer to keep them together as they’ve been together since birth, but willing to separate. They’re both high energy and love to run outside together and play. Both play fetch and would be a great addition to any home. Feel free to reach out, so long as you’re educated / experienced with dogs. They ideally need to be exercised daily, very high energy and smart dogs. Want them to go to a good home.
