Story
This 4-month-old Lab mix is in the prime of her puppyhood and ready to find her new match. 💥 Bundles of Energy: Nova is very playful and has that classic, happy-go-lucky Lab pup energy. She is always down for a game of fetch or a romp in the yard. 👧 Kid-Approved: She has done wonderfully living with children! Her fun-loving personality makes her a great match for an active family. 🎒 Puppy in Training: At just 5 months old, she is a still a baby. She will need a family dedicated to all the normal puppy training basics (potty training, crate training, and manners) to help her grow into the best dog she can be. 💗 A Little Shy at First: Nova wasn’t well-socialized in her very early weeks, so she can be nervous in new situations and around unfamiliar people or dogs. 🌻 Blossoms with Patience: Don't let her initial shyness fool you—once she warms up and realizes she is safe, her true, playful personality shines through and she loves to make new friends! Apply to adopt Nova today! Ready to Adopt? You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00 pm. Story
OTHER PETS: Max hasn't seemed to enjoy the company of other dogs very much during his stay at TJO, but he doesn't mind as long as they're just passing by. He would likely be happiest as the only pet in the home, where he can feel safe and secure without the stress of animal interactions. [Should Be Only Pet]OWNER EXPERIENCE: Experience with positive reinforcement or willingness to learn. Max arrived at TJO with some medical concerns regarding the condition of his skin, and will likely do best with someone that has an established relationship with a vet. Currently his skin is looking much better, though it's still unclear what the main cause of the allergy was. [Some Experience]KIDS: While Max hasn't demonstrated any signs of resource guarding while at TJO, he tends to gently investigate things with his mouth first, and as an older dog can be sensitive to rough handling. He would likely do best in a home with older kids that can understand how to interact with him and when to let him have his own space. [15+ (Must Meet First)]ACTIVITY LEVEL:Max may be older, but he's still got plenty of spring in his step! He absolutely loves playing with toys--though he doesn't always bring them back--and would love the opportunity to just lay out in the grass on a warm, sunny day. A combination or regular/appropriate exercise combined with mental enrichment will help fully meet his needs. [Good Walking Buddy]VETERINARY CARE: As an older dog, Max will likely need more frequent vet appointments to ensure that he continues to age gracefully. That, along with a possible skin allergy, means that he will likely require above average vet care, and would do best with someone that has an established relationship with a vet. [Above Average]LEVEL OF TRAINING NEEDED: Positive reinforcement training will help Max not only learn his basic cues & skills, but also help him to bond with his new owner while building confidence and having fun. [Minimal]GROOMING: Routine brushing will help to minimize shedding in the home. [Minimal]July 1, 2026, 5:42 pm

Story
2 lab sisters Bear (green collar) and Honey (pink collar). Born on 1/22/2025 from 2 pure bred chocolate labs, just couldn’t find dad’s paperwork. Their dad is my mother’s dog. They were recently given back to us by a family member who can no longer care for them. I’ve had them for the past 2 months, but I keep a very busy schedule and can’t care for them as they should be. They had their puppy shots and everything, but unsure if they had their 1 year shots. Would highly prefer to keep them together as they’ve been together since birth, but willing to separate. They’re both high energy and love to run outside together and play. Both play fetch and would be a great addition to any home. Feel free to reach out, so long as you’re educated / experienced with dogs. They ideally need to be exercised daily, very high energy and smart dogs. Want them to go to a good home. Please reach out via email or phone. Cesargcruz94@ Gmail.com or (xxx) xxx-xxxx

Story
Freya is an affectionate, playful, confident girl who loves anyone she meets. She is a classic golden retriever and is obsessed with playing fetch, chasing her tail, and loves to swim. Freya is so brave and likes exploring new places and meeting new people. She is crate trained and walks well on leash. She loves going to the dog park and meeting new friends, especially friendly people who will play fetch. She is a big cuddle bug, and has done great around kids and small dogs. Freya is an amazing dog that will add so much love to any home.We would love to keep her, but she would do much better in a household without other pets and we have two others. She does well with dogs, but will sometimes resource guard food and toys with other dogs. Because of her resource guarding, living with other pets is not ideal, particularly with dogs. Freya would do best in an active household with access to a fenced area to get her zoomies out.
