Hi, I'm Ranger! I'm a one-year-old cutie, and 50lbs of love and cuddles!! I love playing with other dogs, and I'm very loyal to my humans! It would be super fun if I had another dog my size to romp, wrestle, and play with!! That's my favorite thing to do! I also love to play ball! If your family has kids it would be easier for me if they were older and understood dogs as I'm a bit nervous around little kids. I can be a bit slow to warm up, but it doesn't take me long to gain trust! I will for sure be your loyal companion once the trust is there! I'm a rock star in my kennel, both at night and during the day when my fosters are gone. I love walks and do really good on my leash! Come and meet me so you can see just how cool I really am!!!--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. A program launched to make an impactful difference for our partner shelters in Texas facing the overpopulation of animals with limited resources and low adoption rates. We are excited to help these southern gems find loving forever homes to call their own! A Note from the Foster: This gorgeous gorgeous girl must have maple syrup running through her veins because she could not be sweeter! Wendy is gentle, cuddly, curious and very silly. Her favorite activities are zoomies in the snow, long naps on the couch and playing with our nieces. Smart and oh-so soulful, Wendy’s transition has been smooth, as she is quickly adapting to new routines and the comforts of a softer life. Wendy is housebroken, crate-trained and quiet as a mouse. She is eager to please, not food motivated, highly trainable and picking up basic commands quickly. Wendy can be shy around other dogs at first but has shown no signs of aggression and her confidence is growing every day. Would do well in a home with another dog or as a solo queen; no exposure to cats but I'm pretty sure she would want to be friends :) Spay scheduled 3/3.

Looking for a sweet, snuggly companion? Jasper may just be your guy! Jasper is a 3-year-old young adult who has been with us since he was 3 months old. He’s affectionate, loyal, and happiest lounging nearby or cuddling on the couch. He can be shy at first with new people but warms up quickly and becomes very loving. He’s not much of a barker — unless he sees a dog on TV! Jasper lives with two other dogs and does well most of the time, but he would thrive as an only dog. He can be protective of high-value items like toys or favorite spots. He has spent a lot of time around our 5- and 7-year-old grandkids and is wonderful with them. He tends to feel unsure around toddlers and will simply remove himself from the situation, so a home with older children (or adults) would be the best fit. Jasper is a sensitive, devoted dog who will bond deeply with the right person(s).

Ruby is a bright, sparkling gem ready to be adopted! She is a unique black labrador/border collie mix, with high energy and a goofball personality, with a white stripe down her snout! She has a heart of gold with whipped cream on top :) Ruby was found with her friend Lucy, they were both left out in the country, luckily by a rescuer's home. She fed and worked with them for a couple of weeks before they were able to get into the rescue and the rest is a BIG FUTURE!! Ruby LOVES to play tug of war with her friends all the time and I really would be best with another calm and confident dog to help keep her busy and tired. She is best in an outgoing, outdoor loving family, maybe YOURS???
