We often do not know what mix they are and have to base it on what we think they look like, and base it on breeds often found in the area they came from. Most of our dogs who have gotten DNA tests done are 4-10 breeds mixed together. Because their breed mix is a guess we cannot guarantee a 'full grown size' of many of our younger animals.Interested in adopting me? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Gizmo, a 2 year old Lab X, a little man with a BIG personality and a heart full of love. This adorable pup has earned himself several affectionate nicknames, including 'Mo', 'G', and 'G-man', all stemming from his original name, Gizmo. Giz man's unique blend of charm and determination makes him an absolute delight to be around. G gets along famously with other dogs and knows how to hold his ground when necessary. He's a real softie at heart, especially when it comes to snuggling up in cozy blankets, which he loves to messily rearrange to create the perfect resting spot. He even believes he's a pro bed-maker and is always ready to lend a helping paw! When it comes to playtime, G's energy and curiosity come to life. He's an avid chewer, so soft stuffed animals are a no-go, but he's all about hard chew toys that keep him entertained. He may not be a fan of water, avoiding the family pool and lakes, but he takes full advantage of sunny days to relax and explore the yard, sniffing to his heart's content. G is no stranger to adventure, enjoying car rides from short trips to the barn to long journeys all the way to Florida. He's a smart boy who knows his basic commands and walks well on a leash after a brief initial pulling phase. However, his stubborn streak may show itself from time to time, but it only adds to his endearing personality. This playful guy has a keen sense of hearing, which makes him attentive to every sound, though he's selective with his barks. He might make a great hunting partner? G loves the thrill of the chase and can't resist going after birds, squirrels, and rabbits in the yard. He's also fascinated by frogs and toads, often thinking they'd make for a tasty snack if given the chance! Yuck! While he may coexist with a cat, G-Mo has to be kept separate due to his natural instinct to chase when the cat runs. However, when it comes to people, he's a sweet and friendly companion, albeit a little shy initially. But that shyness quickly fades away, especially if treats are involved. This wonderful boy is up-to-date with vaccinations, neutered and chipped, ensuring he stays healthy and happy. If you're looking for a four-legged friend to bring love and laughter into your life, G-Man might be the perfect addition to your family. With his loving nature and mischievous charm, he's sure to win your heart in no time!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 5, 2024, 10:19 pm

Story
Location: Plymouth, MN Ruff Ruff is an awesome dog! He would be an ideal first time dog for someone who wants the basics already mastered - potty trained, kennel trained, sleeping through the night, loose leash walking, come/sit/stay/leave-it, easily redirected, and stays close by when off-leash. His temperament is sweet, happy, and cuddly. He loves the neighbor's kids who are 8 and 6 years old. He had temporary fosters who would welcome him back in a heartbeat since he was so easy and acclimated well. He would be a great dog on his own or in a house with another dog if given the proper slow introductions and time to establish boundaries. He has experience living with another dog and has met/played well with the neighbor dogs. Ruff is content playing by himself or with other dogs. He especially loves fetch and walks. He isn't a fan of sharing toys and food with other dogs so those are provided separately in his kennel. He does not mind humans being near toys or food. The only reason I'm not adopting him myself is so I can continue to foster. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

Story
Location: Burbank, SD Since you're reading this, you're obviously looking for a new best friend! Hey, so am I and my name is Spade! I don't care how old you are but in case that matters to you, I'm just a cute pup born on July 26th, 2023 and I'll need lots of attention and love. I'm full of that puppy energy, dreaming of my forever home and ready to play! My momma Prada, was incredibly lucky to have been rescued and found this great foster mom who let my mom crash and have me & my 7 siblings. All my siblings and mom have been adopted and now I remain in a foster home but my foster mom is great and teaching me to potty and poop outside and I can sit on command. We are still practicing walking on a leash for walks. She likes to play tug of war, sneaks me treats, play outside, go hiking by the creek and during TV time she cuddles me like a baby. She thinks I'm super cute when I run as fast as I can and get the zooms! I enjoy supervising her garden time and making sure she waters all the flowers and vegetables. I do take time to chase and play with the other dogs that live here and I love the outdoors! The resident 11 year old kid is the best and she sneaks me treats, lets me play softball and play on the trampoline. Chickens and cats are my down fall and will play with them too hard so it might be best to have a home without them. My perfect match would be someone who will be patient with me and teach me all the doggie things. When I'm not admiring your every move, I'd love to be playing with children. So, what do you say? Wanna be besties? ---------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
