MEET ROOSTER! Rooster is a 3-year-old flat-coat retriever mix in need of a foster or forever home. He was rescued from a crowded California shelter in the nick of time, along with his brother Goose. Rooster gets along with some dogs, but is a bit of a resource guarder with food, so would either do best as an only dog or with a submissive female. He weighs about 56 lbs. Rooster is currently in Southern California but can be transported to Minnesota. Please email for an application.

Hi, I'm Ranger! I'm a one-year-old cutie, and 50lbs of love and cuddles!! I love playing with other dogs, and I'm very loyal to my humans! It would be super fun if I had another dog my size to romp, wrestle, and play with!! That's my favorite thing to do! I also love to play ball! If your family has kids it would be easier for me if they were older and understood dogs as I'm a bit nervous around little kids. I can be a bit slow to warm up, but it doesn't take me long to gain trust! I will for sure be your loyal companion once the trust is there! I'm a rock star in my kennel, both at night and during the day when my fosters are gone. I love walks and do really good on my leash! Come and meet me so you can see just how cool I really am!!!--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Story
Rome is a 6.5 year old fixed male Lab mix. He is an amazing loving dog that loves to be around people. He loves meeting new people either with visitors or strangers on the street. He is good at the dog park although I did stop bringing him to the dog park because he was attacked by another dog causing stitches. He is great with cats and kids. Amazing on a leash. He does not pull. His favorite pass time is going on walks. He loves his walks. He is also good with car rides. At home, he is pretty mellow. He is off and on with chew toys. Will play tug of war and he loves his treats. Rome is house trained and crate trained. He knows sit, stay, down, lay, speak, bed time, up, down, heel (needs reinforcement on this) , and knows the word walk I have to relocate and Rome cent come with. I have tried family and friends and no luck. He is honestly an amazing dog. You will be very lucky to have him part of your life. Please reach out for a meet and greet.

Eddie is a 1-year-old Black Lab who is sweet, strong, and incredibly loyal! Weighing in at around 55 pounds, he’ll stick by your side like it’s his full-time job.This young pup is house-trained and crate-trained. He does well in his crate for extended periods, settling in after a few minutes. Eddie loves standing on his hind legs to watch the world through the window or gently grabbing your hand with his paw just to keep you close. He loves chew toys, tug-of-war, and most of all, your attention. He usually has at least two walks a day and some active play like tug-of-war or zoomies around the yard. His leash manners are still a work in progress, so his future family should give some extra training to help guide him.He would prefer a home where someone is around often. Loud noises and unfamiliar people can spook him, but with patience and routine, he’s learning to feel more confident. Eddie is not able to live in a home with other dogs because he becomes very overstimulated when he sees them. He hasn’t lived with cats or children.Eddie is looking for a home to grow up in and give love in return! This 11-week-old Lab/Shepherd mix has the sweetest eyes you’ve ever seen! At 11 lbs, this little guy will tell you a whole story with his eyes. His foster family says he loves to say "lady, do you really need to keep kissing me?"Mateo loves to explore every little thing that lands on the floor, and then dramatically flop down for a nap in the warmest, coziest spot he can find. He would climb into the basket of blankets under the Christmas tree to nap. Mateo has a great history with dogs and absolutely adores them, though he’s still learning polite puppy manners and can get a little jumpy with excitement. He loves to play hard with his brothers and chase squeaky toys.He hasn’t been around cats yet, so he will need a proper introduction. Mateo has done well so far with kids ages 8 and up, but he’s teething and can be a bit nippy in typical puppy fashion. He’s gentle overall and doesn’t react negatively to children.Mateo spends short periods of time in the puppy pen with his brothers, then goes into his crate at night, singing a short lullaby for a few minutes to himself. He's learning potty routines and what ‘outside’ means but doesn’t love going out in the cold. He does okay with puppy pads down.Mateo is not collar or leashed trained yet, so his foster family is helping him with keeping his collar on.
