Meet Chet, a 45-pound bundle of energy and heart who’s been on the mend since he arrived just last week in poor body condition after being rescued from impound, but you’d never guess it by watching him now. With good care and a full belly, Chet has already gained five pounds and is feeling stronger every day.I took him out in the yard today and watched him quickly turn into a total speed demon. He loves to run, zooming around in joyful circles like a little race car, stretching his legs and celebrating his second chance. ? He tired out pretty quickly from that burst of energy and was ready to go back in.Easy does it as they say..Chet is a very friendly boy who enjoys being around people and will no doubt keep building his strength and confidence and he’s sure to bring a lot of fun and love to the lucky home that welcomes him. ***Blue and Elvis is BONDED and they NEED to be adopted together!***Meet Blue and Elvis!These two boys came to PCHS from an impound when they were surrendered to an impound when their owner could no longer care for them. The love these two boys have for each other is remarkable. They love to be together and need to be adopted to the same home to keep them happy and healthy. These two are little confused being in shelter as they have lived in the same home together since they were pups. Since they have lived in a home, these two are fully potty trained and appear to be crate trained. They have not been cat tested but seem like they would do okay with other dogs and kids. Blue, who is thought to be some sort of lab mix, is about 5 years old. He has the most striking blue eyes and an inquisitive nature! He absolutely loves his snackies and will do anything for a treat. He seems to know some basic commands like `sit` and `shake`. Elvis, who appears to be an Aussie mix, seems to be a little bit older than Blue and is around 6 years old. Elvis has a more calm demeanor about him. He is also food motivated but he takes his snacks a little more gingerly than his brother. Elvis likes to be close to people and enjoys cuddling right up next to you, or better yet, in your lap!Both these boys are completely vetted and ready to start looking for their new forever home. This sweet pair is hoping their stay with us can be short! If you think your home could be a good match for these two, apply online today! Ziegler “Ziggy” is in need of a foster home. His family is moving to an apartment, which would not be a good fit for him. He would do best in a calm home with a fenced yard and could enjoy the company of another playful dog after a slow, proper introduction. No cats, might be a little jumpy for small children.
