Story
Meet Addie! This sweet girl came into the shelter with her siblings on December 10, 2025 when their owner had too many animals and could no longer care for them. When Addie first arrived, she was terrified—shut down, huddled in the corner, and clearly overwhelmed by the sudden change in her world. Thanks to the love, patience, and gentle encouragement from our dedicated staff and dog walkers, Addie’s true personality is beginning to shine brighter every single day. Her confidence is growing, and her sweetness is impossible to miss. Addie is 1 year and 4 months old, current on vaccinations, and once she knows you, she will love you with her whole heart. She will thrive in a calm, loving home with someone who has the time, patience, and compassion to help her settle in and learn her new home life and routine. She had to learn how to walk on a leash, and while she’s taken to it nicely, she does best when you remain gentle and let her guide you. Watching her transformation—from a frightened pup to a dog who now runs and plays fetch with a toy or tennis ball—truly warms the heart. Addie is a wonderful girl who deserves all the goodness and love one has to share. Maybe you have the perfect forever home she’s been waiting for? Come meet Addie and see just how special she is. 💕🐶

Story
Meet Dobby, a sweet, playful yet gentle soul looking for his forever home. 🐾 Dobby and his brother arrived at the shelter on January 7, 2026, when their owner could no longer care for so many animals. Shelter life has been a big adjustment for them, and at first they were very scared—shaking quietly in their kennel and unsure of their new surroundings. Dobby seems a little more out going amor settling in a little quicker from his brother. What brings them comfort is human kindness; they truly light up when volunteers or staff stop in to give them love and reassurance. Be ready for all of Dobby kisses. He will gladly share them with you. Each day, Dobby grows a little braver as he watches other shelter friends head out for walks and outings. Just like his siblings before him, he is learning that the world isn’t such a scary place after all. Dobby is 1 year and 3 months old, current on all his vaccinations, and hoping his shelter stay will be short. When carried outside, he was nervous at first, but he followed along closely...then we found a squeaky toy and man his personality came alive. He absolutely loves to play chase with a squeaky today. Catches and retrieves it. So fun to watch him play and be a happy goofy pup. Dobby will thrive in a patient, loving home that understands he needs a little time to settle in and learn the ropes. A less stressful environment filled with security, kindness, and encouragement will help him blossom once in a home . Once he does, be ready for unconditional love, sweet kisses, and a lifetime of loyalty and companionship. Could you be the perfect FOREVER home Dobby has been waiting for? 💙
