Story
Beau is a beautiful black and brindle mixed breed, approximately 1 ½ years old, and weighing 61 pounds. We believe him to be mostly a Flat Coated Retriever. Because Beau came to us as a stray, we don’t know much of his history. We can assume he was kept outside at times because he was found with a collar, with a rusty clasp attached to a portion of torn leash. He was seen wandering around for a few days in an open field near his rescuer’s workplace. Once taken in, he was taken to the vet to check for a microchip (none found) and due diligence was done to try and find his owner. Unfortunately, none were found and now Beau is looking to find his furever home! Beau is fully house trained and has not had any accidents. He generally sleeps well through the night but has not been crate trained. Beau can freely roam within the allowed spaces in the house and usually sleeps in his bed or on the cool hardwood floors in the hall. Beau enjoys walks and has been good on the leash. Beau knows how to “sit” and quickly learned “down”. His foster moms are working to improve his fetching of a tennis ball. Beau will fetch, but it’s the giving back of the ball that he doesn’t totally grasp yet. Although his fosters are often home with him during the day, Beau has does fine when left on his own. If he barks at all, it is usually just a few times. After his foster moms leave, Beau will look outside for a few minutes but periodic checks on him (via a camera) have shown Beau to be calm, usually chewing on a toy or laying on the couch or floor. Because Beau does like to be around his people, a home where he is not left alone for extended periods of time would be best. Beau is young and needs to expend some of his energy, so an active home where he goes for walks, runs in a yard or dog park, or plays with toys would also be best. He also loves playing with other dogs so if you're looking for a playmate for your dog, he would be happy to oblige! Beau’s coat is super soft and he thoroughly enjoys belly rubs. He has been good about being brushed and bathed. Beau is curious about the fosters’ cat but has been respectful. He backed off when the cat hissed at him and he does not actively bark or chase after her. Since Beau was a stray, it is unknown his experience with children. Beau had the opportunity to meet some neighborhood kids on his walks, and he gently and respectfully accepted their petting him. Beau isn’t perfect…he definitely is a “counter surfer” and if there’s food within reach, then he’s going to try and grab a bite. Beau also thinks everything is his, whether that is your shoe, a towel, a t-shirt you took off and left on the floor, etc. He likes to accumulate things, and sometimes he just gathers, and sometimes he thinks they’re his personal chew toys. It is for this reason that Beau’s nickname has become “Beau Bandito”! If you want Beau to be your new best friend, apply to be his person today! You can apply for Beau directly on our website www.allgooddogsrescue.org. His adoption fee is $350.

Moon Pie is an adorable Chihuahua puppy born on 10/21/2025 after her pregnant mom was taken into rescue. She was born safe and loved in foster care and has grown into a curious little girl with a playful spirit. Moon Pie was adopted as a young puppy but was sadly returned a few months later through no fault of her own. She is now ready for a fresh start and hoping to find the forever family she deserves. This charming pup loves exploring her surroundings, learning new things, and spending time with her people.   The adoption fee is $400, which covers vetting, microchip and the spay/neuter surgery performed by a rescue-affiliated vet.
