Story
Meet Bailey! A three year old fun and spunky black lab. She loves spending time outside or cuddling up next to you on the couch! She loves other dogs as well as kids! We got her about a year and a half ago from a co-worker that was going to take her to the shelter. Since we have had a new baby and with her hair loss, finding the finances and time for taking care of her and taking her to the vet have been nearly impossible. We are looking for Bailey to find a loving home where she can run and play!

Story
She was my sister dog and regrettable was left with ex during a nasty divorce. Her microchip was registered to my sister and when she was found my sister was called. Unfortunately she now lives in South Dakota and can not transport her that far. She asked me to rehome her. She is super sweet, loves attention, good with even small kids, will bark if someone is in the yard or close, no food aggression, no health issues that I am aware of. I don't have time for a dog. My son had her inside once and she done really well. I currently have her outside on cable. She just needs a home ASAP.

Story
Patches has sent a letter to Sandy-Paws telling him how much she wants her new family for Christmas!!  This sweetheart deserves her very own loving family!   Patches has the biggest, most infectious smile! Patches is a good companion in the car and well behaved. Wanna grab a coffee and a Pup-o-chino or ice cream, Patches is happy to join you!  This girl is a road trip fanatic!  She loves everyone she meets and vice versa. Patches is really a big velcro dog and loves to be right with you. She will definitely lean right into you for some rubs and snuggles.   Patches has been to doggie daycare, and she does well with all the other dogs and humans.  She has a lot of energy so other playful pups in her adoptive family will be awesome!  Patches will need a home with fence because she has a lot of energy and wants to run around and play.  Patches could be an only pup or in a family with another sweet, playful and fun furry sibling(s). Patches lives with other dogs currently in her foster home. During the summer she loves jumping in the baby pool to cool off.   She is good with other dogs and children but may be too rambunctious for children under 10 years of age due to her size. She has that happy puppy personality and is still working on her manners but she’s improving every day.  She knows the words No, Sit and Stay and is crate trained. She is a sweet girl and loves to cuddle and be loved.    She loves food and is very food motivated which is helpful for training purposes. She is very smart and a fast learner. She will sit patiently while you prepare her meals.   As part of Patches's $250 adoption fee, she is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. If you have questions about this sweet girl, you can email Dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org.  If you wish to adopt Patches, you can fill in an online application for her under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website:  www.pawsforlifenc.org ##1073223##

Story
Do you need a playful pup for your playful pup? Honey is a lovable, caring, fun, energetic, and spunky dog. She loves lots of attention, likes long walks but is still learning her leash manners. Apartment life is not for her.  She has a lot of energy so she needs a home with an active family and a large fenced yard to run around in and work out the zoomies.  She is a 5-year-old, 60lb female Lab/Hound mix. Honey is dog friendly, and it's recommended that she would do better in a setting with older kids.  She is active so wouldn't want to accidently knock a little one down.  A recent vacation Foster had this to say about sweet Honey: "We only fostered her one night while her foster mom was away but she did AMAZING with my kids who are 4 and 6. She played outside with them, immediately rolled on her belly for them and did not jump.  Again, we only had her one night and she loved the fenced yard but when she was in the house, she was chill and just laid in the middle of the floor with everyone.  Just wanted to share our experience with her" Most importantly Honey is house trained and is crate trained which is great! She does well when she is in her crate while alone. Honey likes toys and likes to chew, so would do well with durable toys and things to keep her occupied. At the end of the day, she’ll be the first one to lay on the couch and cuddle with you. Honey is looking for a loving home with her furever family to love her and play with her. As part of Honey's $300 adoption fee, she is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.  If you have questions about this sweet girl, you can email Dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org.  If you wish to adopt Sandy, you can fill in an online application for her under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website:  www.pawsforlifenc.org. ##945313##

Story
(DOB 12/17/2023).  Due to Juicy Fruit's young age, she has not yet been spayed.  For this reason, we are only considering local placement (within 1 hour drive time of Wake Forest NC).  Juicy Fruit has only been with us for 4 weeks, so we are still learning about her.  For now, she is your typical puppy. She is inquisitive about everything and is full of kisses.  She is very loving.  Her days are spent eating, sleeping, playing, pottying and repeat.  She just now got enough vaccines to start going outdoors with paws on ground, so true potty training is just beginning.  She is looking for a home with another dog to help her learn how to dog.  Her weight as of March 29th is only 7 lbs. She would love a lap, cuddles and a family that has someone that works from home or stays at home. As part of Juicy Fruit’s $325 adoption fee, she will be spayed, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. In addition to the adoption fee, a $100 spay/neuter deposit and puppy spay/neuter agreement will also be required. The deposit will be returned once the puppy is altered.  If you have questions about this sweet little girl, you can email  Dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org.  If you wish to adopt Juicy Fruit, you can fill in an online application for her under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website:  www.pawsforlifenc.org. ##2010110##
