I have a Flat Coat Retriever named Corby, that I rescued from a bad situation. He was locked in and neglected in a basement. We have had him since October of 2025. We have tried to make work but he does not get along with my male dog. He is good with my female dog. He needs to be an only dog home or no other male dogs. He is approximately 10 years old. Full shots were done in the fall of 2025 and he is neutered. He is sweet with people and loves affection and having his booty patted. I want to find him a good loving home.

Story
I have had Gus for about 3-4 years now and very sadly will need to rehome him. I am moving soon and will be traveling for work. As much as I want to keep him it doesn't feel fair to be gone constantly and boarding him. Gus loves to cuddle just as much as he loves running through the woods. He knows basic commands and listens very well. He listens perfectly when a treat is involved. He is good with people and loves to roll over in front of people for belly rubs. He does have some prey drive but only towards cats. He very well could be good with them I just haven't had a chance to interduce him to one. Gus is a wonderful hiking friend and never wonders off.
