Story
I have a Flat Coat Retriever named Corby, that I rescued from a bad situation. He was locked in and neglected in a basement. We have had him since October of 2025. We have tried to make work but he does not get along with my male dog. He is good with my female dog. He needs to be an only dog home or no other male dogs. He is approximately 10 years old. Full shots were done in the fall of 2025 and he is neutered. He is sweet with people and loves affection and having his booty patted. I want to find him a good loving home.

This is the ever-loveable Bella! An energetic sweetheart who`s happy to find her people and spend lots of time with them. She`s always eager for food and treats, which is the fastest way to befriend her, as she needs all that energy to be the best dog to ever do it. Her hobbies include running around all day, going on walks, acting as a doorbell for the house, and giving hugs. She is very happy to meet kids of all ages, though she will need some training to avoid toppling smaller children over in her joy to greet them. Bella does excellent around other dogs and enjoys getting to meet new ones to run around and play with them. She`s very excited whenever she meets a cat, and do her best to politely wait and see if the cat would also like to be friends with her. This wonderful gal will do best in a home where people are home often and have the space to let her zoom around to her hearts content, as she doesn`t care much for toys as she does for running. This handsome, high-energy boy is always ready for fun! Buddy loves to run, play, and burn off his enthusiasm with anyone who’s willing to join in. Buddy is a smart cookie who already knows sit, paw, and lay down. This is Spydr, who got her name from the way her 3-year-old human kid friend thought the patterns on her back looked like a spider`s web! She was adopted from us as a little puppy, was well taken care of, and even was taken to obedience classes; however, she has so much energy, and no amount of intervention seemed to satiate any of that, so now she`s now back with us to get her in a home that can match her speed! She is a big fan of going for several walks, getting to run around, and meeting new people and animals. She gets along very well with other dogs, though it`s best if she pairs up with dogs that can match her high energy play. She also loves children and does well with them, though it`s best to supervise small children, as her forms of love can topple them over (she means well)! Spyder is a wonderful sweetheart of a dog who will do best in a home that continues to take her to obedience classes, and continue working on the skills she`s acquired. It will also help significantly to have plenty of space, time, and companionship to help her redirect her energy into something healthy, as she is still young and learning how to manage that endless excitement for life. She may need a refresher on proper house breaking too, since the pet shelter has a much different set up to the one in a typical home, though she is very smart and will pick up on this quickly.
