I have a Flat Coat Retriever named Corby, that I rescued from a bad situation. He was locked in and neglected in a basement. We have had him since October of 2025. We have tried to make work but he does not get along with my male dog. He is good with my female dog. He needs to be an only dog home or no other male dogs. He is approximately 10 years old. Full shots were done in the fall of 2025 and he is neutered. He is sweet with people and loves affection and having his booty patted. I want to find him a good loving home.

I'm Seraphina, and I’ll be honest with you right from the start—my past was really dark. I was rescued by a humane agent after being abandoned in a crate with some other dogs. Because of that, the big, loud world can still feel pretty overwhelming to me, and I’m still practicing learning how to feel safe. When we first meet, I might be hesitant and unsure, and I hope that’s okay. I’m looking for a patient, compassionate soul who understands that trust isn't built overnight. But if you are willing to go at my pace, I promise you the reward is going to be so special. Once I realize you are one of the "good ones," my true self starts to bloom! I actually have a wonderfully silly, playful side that I save just for the people I trust. I am a sweet, loving girl at heart. I’m just waiting for a gentle hand to show me that life can be beautiful. Will you be the one to help give me the life I’ve always wanted?

Chocolate is a young chocolate Lab looking for a safe, loving home. She is about ~1.5 years old, 68 lbs, and has the classic Lab sweetness--friendly, affectionate, and eager to be near people. She doesn't seem to like small dogs. She was found as a stray wandering door to door in my neighborhood in the middle of the night. She has been receiving care for skin issues/mange, as well as some paw injuries. She will need someone willing to continue helping her heal (she loves her baths!) and settle in.Chocolate is a big puppy and has the energy to match. However, she loves to chill and just be near humans. Ultimately, she needs more than I can give her long-term, especially with my other two rescue dogs. She deserves a home where she can get consistency and cuddles on the couch.Fun facts: She is completely housebroken and hasn't chewed up anything destructively. She is a retriever, though, and has collections of items she's 'retrieved' throughout the yard :) She loves the trampoline.

Story
We adopted Charley back in September 2022 through Paw Patrol. He’s around 10-12 years old now, which he was a rescue from Kentucky and brought to Dayton. Charley has boundless needs for affection, and needs a home with never ending snuggles and a comfy couch! He is a vocal fellow when you egg him on to sing with you, and an excellent companion in the back seat of a car. He enjoys running in a big open yard with plenty of space, but mainly lounges on a comfy cushion. He responds well to other household animals (cats and dogs), but gets very excited and vocal around new faces. If you’re looking for a sitting buddy through his senior years, Charley is the dog for you!
