Flat-Coated Retriever Labrador Retriever

Female, 4 mos
Portland, OR
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, Spayed or Neutered,
Video: Jill is a 4 month old super sweet baby girl who found herself on the chopping block along with her sister due to space limitations at the shelter at a very small rural shelter in Oklahoma. Our rescue pulled them both at the last minute and organized a 3 hour transport to us just to save them along with one other lucky pup. She is great with other dogs of all sizes, loves everyone she meets, loves to play, loves water and is also great with cats. She will make a great family dog and/or companion for an individual or couple. There's nothing bad to say about her. She is currently still in Oklahoma but can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. We have frequent transports to the locations below. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of the locations. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take her in or she will go back to Oklahoma on the next transport until a new home is found. Transport locations: - Washington State (Kennewick, Lynnwood/Edmonds, Seattle/Tacoma) - Oregon (Portland and Springfield) - Colorado (Ft Lupton) - Illinois (Vandalia) - Indiana (Spiceland) - Ohio (Columbus) - Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh) - New York (Buffalo and Albany) - Connecticut (Enfield) Vetting: spayed, microchipped, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 2, lepto vaccine x 2, dewormed, on monthly heartworm prevention, on monthly flea and tick prevention. Adoption fee: $500 (includes the $250 cost of transport from Oklahoma) Adoption application: Desiderata Rescue is Oklahoma Licensed Rescue #95

Good with kids, Needs experienced adopter,
Needing to rehome pure breed charcoal male lab puppy. 8 months old. Fully vaccinated. Fully potty trained. Not fixed yet, vet recommended not to fix him till after a year old. Comes with crate, dog bed, dog treats, water and food bowl, and other things. He needs someone with a large yard for him to run. Someone who is active who will take him on regular runs and walks. May need to warm up to other dogs if you have other dogs. Would be better being an only dog. Someone with lab experience or who knows about the breed. Not asking a rehoming fee, just looking for the right fit for him.

Golden Retriever Husky

Male, 6 mos
Salem, OR
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Good with kids, Good with dogs,
We would like to introduce Huckleberry to you all ! He is a 6 month Golden/Husky mix. He will be a big boy maybe 80lbs. He needs to be rehomed to a family that is home with him most of the time. He is not liking the crate as much as thought .This is what his owner has to say about this guy~ He has been an incredibly smart puppy. He is potty trained, uses a dog door. Loose leash walking, basic commands, high play drive and treat motivated. He gets along with my other four dogs really well and with all other dogs he’s met. Crate trained at night and is up to about 4 hours a day in the crate. Not sure about cats. He’s been fine with kids this far as well. He’s for the most part pretty chill and laid back. He sleeps through the night. He LOVES people. It breaks my heart to rehome him but I think he’s dealing with some separation anxiety. I work 10-12 hours a day and my husbands hours recently changed and works 8-10 hours a day. He’s totally fine when we are home but if we are gone or if we are in a room where he doesn’t have access to us he has a very difficult time and has been chewing on the walls and base boards out of stress I think. It’s been about a month and we have tried bitter spray on the walls and crating him longer and exercising him more. But it comes down to it’s not fair to him to be crated for 8 hours of the day stressed and anxious till we get home. Before he was able to freely be in the house and could use the dog door to go outside. We are able to give him an hour of good hard play at night but I don’t think that that’s even enough. It would be good for him to be in another home with someone that’s home more and maybe has another high play drive dog. I want him to go to a really good home. He’s a really good dog! He’s a beautiful dog. Apply at
