MEET ROOSTER! Rooster is a 3-year-old flat-coat retriever mix in need of a foster or forever home. He was rescued from a crowded California shelter in the nick of time, along with his brother Goose. Rooster gets along with some dogs, but is a bit of a resource guarder with food, so would either do best as an only dog or with a submissive female. He weighs about 56 lbs. Rooster is currently in California but can be transported to Washington. Please email for an application.

HI - I'M MACY! I'm a sweet and happy 5- to 6-year-old chocolate-and-white Aussie-Lab, mix, possibly with a little pit mixed in. I have been waiting for two years for a home and currently need a foster or forever home. I was rescued from a high-kill shelter where I had kennel mates! I'm still very active, and so would love to be with a person or people who go for walks, hikes or other outings. I love the water and car rides and am a happy girl. And I love to snuggle! I weigh about 45-50 lbs. I would love a home with someone who works from home or is retired, since being with my person or people is wonderful! Can you open your home and heart to me? MEET HOLT! Holt is a 2-year-old Black Lab mix in need of a foster or forever home. He is a good, happy boy who is full of life, and still a puppy at heart. He is dog friendly, people friendly and affectionate! He is loyal, gentle and smart! While he loves companionship, he also can be independent and can chill while you're working. Holt would do great with an active person or people as he's quite athletic and will benefit from regular exercise, like walks, hikes or runs. He pulls a bit on a leash but is easily corrected. He would do well with another dog in the home or as an only dog. He is a sweet boy, and weighs about 60-65 lbs. Please email for an application.

HI - I'M ROOTIE, and my story is a sad one. I was originally save from a shelter many years ago, and just this summer, I was rescued from a homeless encampment in Southern California. So now I'm safe, but I'm still a bit shy/timid in my new surroundings. I really need a home with a soft bed and a person or people to love me. I may take just a little bit to come out of my shell, but I deserve a wonderful home for once in my life. I'm 8 years old now, but in good health. Can you please foster or adopt me? I'm currently in Southern California, but can be transported to you in Washington at no extra charge.
