Goose loves his people, big and small, and enjoys attention, but he is also wonderfully independent. While his brothers are busy wrestling outside, he is perfectly content grabbing a toy and entertaining himself. He is the kind of pup who can balance affection and adventure with ease. Hi, I am Black Jack! I am the perfect family dog. I am a happy, playful, and loving dog who enjoys spending time with my humans and dog friends. I love to play, go for walks, and explore new places. Whether I am running off leash or walking calmly on a leash, I am just happy to be with you.I am very gentle and friendly with everyone. I am not a guard dog. I will ll happily greet anyone who comes my way. I get along great with other dogs and also cats and I am eager to learn new tricks if you give me the time to train.I was found alone on my first year of life on the boardwalk, covered in bite wounds, including a large one on my leg. I also had ehrlichia and anemia, but I have recovered well thanks to care and love. I have been living with my foster family since then and I have two big dog sisters and a cat.I would do best with an active young person, a couple, or a family with older kids who want a loyal and playful companion.This dog is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement. As a U.S. nonprofit, Hope 4 La Pawz, handles all logistics and provides full behavioral and medical info in advance.
