Story
Toby is a sweet, human pleasing and submissive boy. He is shy and nervous at first but loves people. He loves to walk around, carrying toys in his mouth. He is great with older kids, but younger ones stress him out a bit too much. He would be best being the only dog, he has issues with male dogs and is too rough with female dogs. In my family we have 2 other female dogs and a young child, with other kids coming through here often. It is not an easy decision for us, but for the benefit of everyone I know that Toby will thrive in the right home. He has not been around cats. He is the best outdoor dog I have ever had, great on hikes, fishing, ice fishing, camping. Listens to his humans really well. Has some separation anxiety, but not as bad as it used to be, especially if given toys. Ball is his favorite! If you are outdoor type with older kids/ no kids and want an only dog who will be 100% devoted to you, this is your guy.

Story
I adopted Lilith from SCRAPS after she had been surrendered for neglect. We've been working on socializing, and while she is very friendly she's also very timid around new people. She loves other dogs, and is highly interested in cats but hasn't had a chance to interact with any. She is not a heavy barker, but when comfortable with someone she will vocalize. She is generally sweet natured, but she never learned bite inhibition so she is very mouthy and can bite hard when she really wants to play. We're working on this and she is showing great improvement (now responds to verbal commands). She is potty/doggy door trained. Lilith is very high energy and will need a home where she gets lots of attention. She does really well on walks, with some pulling. She is *highly* food motivated but has not shown any food aggression with me or my husband. She has shown what could be resource guarding with toys, but I think it's play motivated. She will need some training.
