HI - I'M DOMINO! I'm a 5- to 7-year-old black Lab/Shepherd mix (could be younger - that was just the shelter's estimate) in need of a foster or forever home! I'm confused why nobody has chosen me, as I'm sweet, dog friendly and in good health! I was rescued from a crowded California shelter awhile back, and while there I had multiple kennel mates. I am a nice, active, loving boy who would do well with an active person or people who can take me for walks, hikes and other outings. I weigh about 59 lbs. Can you foster or adopt me? Bear is a two-year-old Labrador mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality. He’s a beautiful boy with soft fur, expressive eyes, and a friendly smile that wins everyone over. Bear loves being outdoors – going for walks or just enjoying a day in the yard. He’s happiest when he gets to be part of the family and loves being around people. He already knows basic commands and is a smart boy who learns quickly, especially when treats are involved! Bear walks semi-nicely on a leash and has a calm temperament, making him a perfect walking companion. He would do best in a home with some space to move around, ideally with a yard, and with people who will include him in their everyday life. Bear is social and gets along well with other dogs, but what he really wants most is someone he can bond with and feel safe around. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will fill your life with love and joy Bear is the one for you.
